Note! Avoid disconnecting or reconnecting the modem with the Server hardware and the operating system, as each time the connection is lost, you must restart the Server to establish the connection between the modem and the Server.

Installing Drivers To install Drivers for Systems with Windows Server 2008/Windows 7 To install the drivers for systems with Windows Server 2008/Windows 7 perform the following steps. 1. Connect the modem to the USB port of the PC. If you are prompted for automatic driver installation from Found New Hardware Wizard, click Cancel. 2. Right-click My Computer, and then click Manage. The Server Manager window appears. 3. Click Diagnostics in the left pane. 4. Select Device Manager. The list of Devices installed on your host machine appears in the right pane.

Note! If serial interfaces like Rocket port is already installed in the computer, then after installing the modem, the modem assigns the next available COM port.
