Day 01: 04 June 2016 Saturday Mumbai – Nairobi – Kilimanjaro – Arusha Departure by Kenya Airways to Arusha. Arrival @ Kilimanjaro airport @ 17:20 hrs. Meet & Greet our local expert @ the Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer in to your waiting vehicle to Arusha. (50 kms approximately). Check in to Mount Meru Hotel, Arusha. Dinner & Overnight @ Arusha.

Day 02: 05 June 2016 Sunday Arusha – Tarangire National Park After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park. (180 kms approximately). Check in for Lunch @ Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

What to do - Game drives

Tarangire National Park, the 6th largest in Tanzania and possibly its best well kept secret, was established in 1970, and was the fifth conservation area to be declared after the country’s independence. While there is also an abundance of all forms of wildlife throughout the year, Tarangire is especially renowned for its large herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, huge pythons, its herds of oryx which are regularly seen, and also for its rock paintings which were done by early man tens of thousands of years ago.

Day 03: 06 June 2016 Monday Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast drive (170 Kms) through the Ngorongoro Highlands to your lodge on the rim of the crater. Lunch at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Afternoon visit to local Masai village. Detailed talk about the Maasai shall be delivered by your Safari driver. Dinner & overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 04: 07 June 2016 Tuesday Ngorongoro Crater area After breakfast, descend in to the crater for a full day crater safari. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Ngorongoro is 10 to 12 miles in diameter and nearly 2,000 feet deep Look for black rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, hyena, lions, cheeter, and Ostrich etc

The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breath taking natural wonder. The area contains over 25,000 large animals. Its 12 Kms down that you descend in the crater to see the crater animals who can never come out. The crater views are also phenomenally superb. Day 05: 08 June 2016 Wednesday Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti N.P. After breakfast drive to the world famous Olduvai Gorge. A naturalist shall give short story about the site. Here you have come to one of the few places in the world, where mankind lived millions of years ago. A small museum @ site details the story. After your visit, we proceed to the Serengeti. Lunch at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Afternoon is spent on a game drive. Dinner & overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 06: 09 June 2016 Thursday Serengeti N.P. Morning & evening game drive @ Serengeti National Park. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Goldenmaned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the south eastern plains. Almost uniquely, all three African jackal species occur here, alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat. Day 07: 10 June 2016 Friday Serengeti National Park – Lake Manyara N.P. After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park. (123 kms) Lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drives in Lake Manyara National Park. The Lake Manyara forest is the place to see leopard, if you are lucky enough, while lions hunt on the grassy shores of the lake. The park is also famous for its herds of elephants and huge variety of birds. Dinner & overnight: Lake Manyara Serena.

Lake Manyara is a lovely scenic park on the road from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater. The lake itself takes up much of the park leaving a strip of land running down its shores where game concentrates. Famous for its tree climbing lions, good elephants, 400 bird species and baboons, Manyara is often visited for an afternoon's game drive on the way to Ngorongoro. Size: 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is lake when water levels are high. What to do - Game drives, night game drives, canoeing when the water levels is sufficiently high.

Day 08: 11 June 2016 Saturday Lake Manyara – Arusha – Kilimanjaro Departure After breakfast, drive to Arusha (approximately 172 kms) and have lunch at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. Then transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (50 kms approximately) for your home bound flight. Evening 15:00 hrs flight from Kilimanjaro. Arrival to Mumbai on 12 June via Nairobi.
