GOLF SOCIETY PACKAGES Wickham Park Golf Club is renowned for being one of the best year round courses in the South. We can tailor make golf societies for groups of 12 - 70 players. Shaun Manning our dedicated Golf Day Sales Manager with over 6 years experience in ensuring you have the perfect day will ensure your day runs smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion on the day.

The clubhouse and course are both set up to suit society play, the 9th and 18th holes both finish back at the clubhouse and after nine you can even order a drink or food from the half way window, which you have to pass to get to the 10th. Summer Packages

DRESS CODE AND CLUB RULES We respectfully request that Organisers ensure that the following rules are adhered to by all golf day participants, in order to avoid any embarrassment.

• No jeans, trainers or collarless shirts to be worn

• The dress code is smart casual

• Shorts must be tailored & worn with sports socks

• Tee-shirts, singlets, track suits, blue denim & trainers are not acceptable

• Golf shoes must be worn on the course at all times

• Footwear must be worn at all times

• ALL players should adhere to the etiquette of golf and complete their round within a reasonable time ~ should pace of play be slower than expected players must call through the group behind

• Baseball caps or hats should not be worn in the Clubhouse

• Golfers must not share bags or clubs

• Under no circumstances should wet / muddy golf shoes or clothing be worn in the Clubhouse • Mobile phones must be on silent at all times and calls in the Clubhouse must be taken in the foyer or outside

GOLF SOCIETY TERMS & CONDITIONS GOLF DAYS 1. A golf day or society booking is for a minimum of eight full paying players. Any variation from this will be at the sole discretion of the Club. 2. There is a 4 ball policy in operation throughout the year and 2 or 3 balls may be required to pair up. 3. A provisional booking is made on completion and submission of a booking form to the Club at which you are planning to have the event. 4. The following rule only applies to Crown Golf Members. Please note the Open Play membership benefit cannot be used as part of your society event, as detailed on www.crown-golf.co.uk. Members of Crown Golf Clubs are liable to pay the full event price. 5. Please ensure that players adhere to club dress codes – both course and clubhouse. Further information on dress code is available on request from the club in advance of your booking. DEPOSIT PAYMENTS 6. All bookings require a deposit within 14 days of the provisional booking. If the event occurs less than 14 days from booking the deposit is required at time of booking. 7. All bookings require a deposit, unless the Customer has an account with the Club with a unique reference number, supported by a Purchase Order number. 8. Bookings are provisional until receipt of appropriate written confirmation or deposit and signed copy of these terms and conditions. The Club reserves the right to cancel any booking without liability in the event of non-payment of a deposit. 9. Deposits are non-refundable except under circumstance defined in section 14. 10. A deposit of £10 per person is required at the time of booking for events with a total value under £500. For events with a total value greater than £500 the Club reserves the right to request a higher level of deposit. ARRANGEMENTS AND NUMBERS ATTENDING 11. The Customer must confirm to the Club all information necessary to organise the golf event including, the anticipated number of attendees and details of special dietary requirements and menu selections, not less than 14 working days prior to the golf event. Where a booking is made at less than 14 days notice, all such information must be confirmed at the time of the booking. 12. Final confirmed numbers are required no later than 3 days prior to the event. 13. A - Where the actual attendance on the day is 1 to 3 players less than the final confirmed numbers the Customer will be liable to pay for any pre ordered food & beverage but no green fee for the absent players. B - In the event of 4 or more attendees cancelling, the customer will be liable to pay for the full green fee and any pre ordered food & beverage for the absent players. 14. The Club reserves the right to reallocate the golf event if the attendance differs significantly from the predicted number. The Club will give written notice of amendments prior to the event if given a reasonable notice period of changes by the Customer. The Club reserves the right to make any necessary amendments to the proposed menu or facilities. CANCELLATION 15. Cancellation charges are based upon the Customer's most recent confirmation. 16. In the event of cancellation prior to an event the charges are as outlined in the matrix below. 8 days or more prior to the golf event = All deposits lost or event transferred to a future date 7-0 days prior to golf event = Full balance payable 17. The Club will make every attempt to resell cancelled booking space/times and use the profit in calculation of cancellation charges. 18. The Club may, at its sole discretion, cancel at any time any golf event it deems may prove unsuitable or disruptive to the Club as a whole. Although not bound to do so the Club would, if permitted, offer a minimum of 48hrs notice in consideration of the Customer’s need to amend arrangements. In such event the Club will refund all monies paid in advance by the Customer and shall be deemed to have no further liability arising from the cancellation. In the event that a Customer is found to have misrepresented the nature of an event, the Club reserves the right to cancel the event without refund of monies paid in advance. PAYMENT 19. For all bookings payment is to be made in full no later than the day of the event prior to the first tee time. 20. The Club is not liable to offer reductions or reimbursement in the event that weather affects your golf day in any way whatsoever excluding section 14. 21. The Customer agrees to take full responsibility, and reimburse the Club, for the cost of repair arising from any damage to the property, contents or course and grounds by the players in their golf society. 22. All prices quoted include VAT unless otherwise stated. CONTRACTED SUPPLIERS 23. If independent suppliers are authorised by the club the Customer is responsible for ensuring the correct health and safety and public liability in held by that supplier. Adjustment to any of the above terms and conditions are at the sole discretion of the General Manager. Any changes must be stated on the booking form overleaf and only apply for the duration of that event. The Club reserves the right to revise quotations where prices may be affected due to reasons beyond its control and in such event will do so in writing to the Customer.
