Who’s Who in the Company Scott Spence (Artistic Director/Director) can hardly believe this is his 22nd season at the Beck Center. Since 1990, Scott has produced well over 200 productions, directing over 70 himself. The list of favorites grows every season, and includes Parade, A Man of No Importance, Sweeney Todd, Hair, The Secret Garden, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Farnsworth Invention, Reefer Madness, The Fix, Zombie Prom, Tommy, Urinetown The Musical, Evil Dead The Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and the box office smashes The Producers and Hairspray. Last season Scott was also thrilled to direct a remounting of Beck’s hit production of Altar Boyz at PlayhouseSquare’s beautiful Hanna Theatre. He is very proud of the awards and acclamations Beck has received over the past decade, and is especially grateful for having won the Northern Ohio Live Award for Achievement in Theatre in 2006. Outside of Beck’s walls, Scott’s directorial assignments have included Das Barbecü at Opera Cleveland, The Last Night of Ballyhoo at Case Western Reserve University’s Eldred Theatre, Oh Dad Poor Dad.... at CSU Summer Stages and Noises Off at both Weathervane in Akron and Berea Summer Theatre. Occasionally on the other side of the footlights, Scott has appeared in Dick Deadeye (Berea Summer Theatre), Man of La Mancha (Jewish Community Center), The Secret Rapture (Dobama) and closer to home at Beck in Big River, The Boys Next Door and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. He also had the privilege of joining the cast of Passion, directed by Victoria Bussert, in his only onstage stint in the Studio Theater. Scott holds an MFA in Directing from Western Illinois University and is a trained stage fight choreographer, having studied extensively with the SAFD. He is also a proud member of the faculty at Cleveland State University where he recently directed Sartre’s No Exit this season. As always, Scott dedicates his work to the two leading ladies in his life – Rachel and Carleigh.

**Martín Céspedes Director/Choreographer) Most recently staged Hairspray for the Beck Center for the Arts, as well as Batboy: The Musical and A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Great Lakes Theater and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and The Fantasticks for The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. Favorite productions include Nine: The Musical, Equus, for which he received a 2007 Northern Ohio Live nomination for best choreography, Smokey Joe’s Café, Five Guys Named Moe, Ain’t Misbehavin’ and My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. He has appeared in several Broadway National Tours including Man of La Mancha with Jack Jones and Ron Holgate; The King and I with Hayley Mills, Marie Osmond, Maureen McGovern, and Faith Prince; South Pacific with Robert Goulet; and West Side Story with Bebe Neuwirth. In New York, Martín staged choreography for the offoff-Broadway production of Scrooge and Marley and choreographed opening acts for Earth, Wind and Fire and the Bee Gees. Other television appearances include Dance Fever and NBC’s Weekday Fever, as well as the Washington National Opera’s lavish production of Massenet’s Le Cid, starring Placido Domingo, broadcast live from the Kennedy Center on PBS, for which he also served as associate choreographer. An alumnus of the Jacque d’Amboise National Dance Institute at PS 161 in New York City, Martín has won numerous awards and was nominated in 2009 for the prestigious Zelda Fichandler Award, which recognizes an outstanding director or choreographer who is making a unique and exceptional contribution through his or her work in regional theater. Thanks Scott! Larry Goodpaster (Musical Director) Joseph…Dreamcoat 2011 marks the close of Larry’s 13th year at the Beck Center since 1998. An award-winning pianist while in high school, Larry followed quite a

different path and obtained degrees in biology, chemistry, veterinary medicine, and business over the next 20 years. Upon receiving his MBA in 1997, Larry decided to pursue musical theater in his recreational time. Larry’s love and passion for the arts soon became an obsession. Beginning in January 2008, Larry spent his days at the Beck Center as a volunteer business consultant in the administrative offices. In the fall of 2009, he was hired as the Director of Business Operations at the Beck. This past summer, he began a broader position as Director of Finance and Administration. He now spends his days, evenings and weekends pursuing his life’s passion in support of the Beck. Libby Burchmore (Stage Manager) is delighted to be back in Canaan with this amazing cast and crew! Most recently at Beck Center, Libby stage managed The Marvelous Wonderettes, Steve Martin’s The Underpants, and last year’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Over the past twelve years she has NOT been seen in dozens of shows as a light board operator and crew hand. A big thank you to all of the production staff, our dedicated volunteer crew family, and her favorite Cractors, and especially to her mother who always takes care of the dogs and never complains about her crazy schedule. Brian Altman (Reuben) is so happy to be back at the Beck with a new bunch of brothers! He has enjoyed local theater for many years and is grateful for the opportunity to have performed in shows like Into the Woods (The Baker) at the Erie Playhouse, Ragtime (Tateh) at Rabbit Run Theater, Forever Plaid (Smudge) at Pickwick and Frolic, Peter Pan (Pirate) at the Beck and Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol (Jacob Marley) at the Roadhouse Theater in Erie. His day job as a Kids/Humor Senior Line Designer at American Greetings keeps him busily entertained. The love of his partner and their cat keeps him gratefully content. Alexander Arroyo (Zebulon/Baker/Dance Captain) thanks Scott, Martín and this very talented cast and crew for making it so much fun to come back for another round of Joseph…Dreamcoat! A few favorite credits include: You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Snoopy), Altar Boyz (Juan), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear) at TrueNorth Theatre. Professional acting credits include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat National Tour (with Tricia Tanguy!), A Fireside Christmas (The Grinch), Cinderella (The Herald); along with other NYC and regional theater credits. Alex also worked with the Beck crew last year to reprise Altar Boyz (Swing) at the Hanna Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. He works for the Lorain County Metro Parks as the Arts Programmer, and is a proud graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Tee Boyich (Wife) is thrilled to perform in her first Beck Center production. She is a recent transfer from DePauw University School of Music where she was last seen in Lady Windermere’s Fan (Lady Windermere). She is currently pursing her BFA in Musical Theatre at Kent State University. Tee has been seen in multiple productions over the years including Urinetown The Musical (Little Becky Two Shoes) at Illinois Theatre Center, Little Women (Amy March) at The Drama Group and others. Much thanks to the world’s most supportive family and friends and very special thanks to Mom, Dad and Dr. White. For Johnny, always. Melinda Joy Cameron (Wife) was a Medina Beeliner all four years in high school and as a member of the band’s drill team, received the highest possible marks at multiple statewide competitions. She was

a featured soloist in Chorale, Women’s Chorus, Concert Choir, The Encore Entertainment Company – Medina’s award-winning show choir, and the Sirens – Medina’s female a cappella group. Melinda was a four-year member of The Ohio University Women’s Chorale, participating in university and community performances of Mozart’s Requiem, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Dona Nobis Pacem by R. Vaughan Williams. She has studied voice privately for seven years and has collaborated with bands including Papadosio, Rachel Robert’s Secret Stache, Encroachment Band, and Space Available. Ben Donahoo (Naphtali) is extremely excited to be joining the cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for his first show at the Beck Center! Ben recently moved here from Pocatello, Idaho where he studied Chemistry and Theatre at Idaho State University. He has recently been seen in the workshop preview of The Berlioz Project (Hector Berlioz) at Cleveland Public Theatre, Happy Days, a New Musical (Richie Cunningham) and The Cardigans (Johnny) at Trumpet in the Land, and White Christmas (Mike Nulty) at the Mystique Theatre. He is extremely grateful for the undying support of his family and friends. Special thanks to Mom and Dad! Nathan Earley (Issachar) is elated to join the talented cast of Joseph… Dreamcoat for this encore production. This is Nathan’s first show at the Beck Center. He has been seen in multiple theaters across Northeast Ohio playing many different roles including: Hello Dolly (Barnaby Tucker) at Cassidy Theater, It’s A Wonderful Life (George Bailey) at Geauga Lyric Theatre Guild, The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert Martin) with Garfield Heights Players, and The Producers (Leo Bloom) at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre. He sends love to his family and friends, especially his mother and Justin for all of their continuing support.

Kydon Elam (Youth Chorus) is excited to perform a second year of Joseph...Dreamcoat. He has primarily performed in productions at Westpark Community School where he is in fifth grade. He is currently enrolled in theater classes at the Beck Center. Max Evans (Youth Chorus) A sixth-grader at Harding Middle School, Max started youth theater classes at the Beck in 2010 after discovering Glee and Saturday Night Live. The training and confidence he gained that first year propelled him into the spotlight as the emcee for Grant Elementary School’s annual Talent Show, where he dazzled and delighted kids of all ages with his comic timing, wit and hula dancing. Max loves to play the violin and hopes one day to perform with The Lakewood Project. Joseph… Dreamcoat is his first Beck Center performance. Sarah M. Faught (Youth Chorus) has been involved in music since the early age of six when she sang solo performances of Somewhere Over the Rainbow and The Lollipop Guild at Brookview Elementary School. She has performed as a soloist several times since then singing such favorites as Amazing Grace, Lean on Me, Don’t Stop Believing, and Climb. Sarah was selected to perform with the All City Choir and All City Band, playing her clarinet and singing. Other credits include: Joseph…Dreamcoat 2010 production (Youth Chorus) and Beck Youth Theater’s Cats at Beck Center and The Wizard Of Oz (Munchkin) at Midpark High School. Sarah is in her second year of piano lessons. This past spring she wrote her own song and sang for Ford Middle School’s talent show.

Bethany Ferry (Wife/ Narrator U/S) is ecstatic to be a returning cast member in this season’s production of Joseph… Dreamcoat! Bethany was last seen on the Mackey Main Stage in Hairspray (Tammy/Penny U/S) and Peter Pan (Indian). She is in her final year at Kent State University and will be graduating in May with a BFA in Musical Theatre. At Kent State, Bethany was most recently seen in The Crucible (Mary Warren) and Grease (Frenchy). Previous roles include Oliver! (Charlotte), The Grapes of Wrath (Al’s Girl/Ensemble), and the title role in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Love and gratitude to the cast and crew, her family and friends for being the most supportive people she knows – especially Mom, Correne, Kimberly, Mark, Tricia, Samantha, Erin, and Danielle. Richie Gagen (Swing) is so excited to be returning to the Beck Center stage after seven years. He was last seen here in Seussical the Musical! (Who/Cadet). Richie is a senior Mathematics major at Cleveland State University. Some previous theater credits include: Camelot (Tom of Warwick), A Midsummernight’s Dream (Bottom/Pyramus), The Oz Project (Kain), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip Tolentino) at Gannon University. Other favorite roles include: The Nerd (Thor Walgrave) and Judgment at Nuremberg (Oskar Rolfe) at St. Ignatius High School and A Christmas Story (Flick) at Cassidy Theater. Richie would like to thank his parents for all their unending love and support. Gavin Gill (Youth Chorus) is 13 years old and lives in Rocky River. He has two dogs, one cat, and one brother. His favorite shows here are Beck Youth Theater productions of The Adventures of Snow White, Honk Jr.!, and Seussical

The Musical!. He is happy to be returning to the cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Holly Kay Harris (Wife/ Potiphar’s Wife/Dance Captain) is delighted to be back for the encore production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Other Beck Center credits include Hairspray, The Producers and Peter Pan. Holly has also performed in several productions at Cassidy Theatre including West Side Story (Anybodys), Dreamgirls and Cabaret. By day, Holly is a donor relations associate for University Circle Inc. She was a 10-year member of The Singing Angels, and currently is their grant writer and a guest choreographer. Holly is also part of the Beck Center Theater Education staff as a dance instructor. Many thanks to Scott, Martín, Larry, Libby, the cast, and crew for another great time in Canaan! Zac Hudak (Levi) is filled to the brim with exuberance to return on this journey. He spent most of his year digging deep into his psyche at convergence-continuum, appearing in The Museum Play, Miracle At Naples, Five Flights, and The Boys In The Band. Other Beck credits include: La Cage Aux Folles, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Urinetown The Musical, Evil Dead The Musical, and The Producers. Zac dedicates this performance to his older, more masculine brother...Brian Altman. Tristan Irvin (Youth Chorus) enjoys being part of the Beck Center family. He likes to perform and is excited to be returning to Joseph…Dreamcoat this year. Tristan spends his free time taking tap, ballet and jazz classes, and also plays the violin. He loves all animals – especially dogs.

Geoff Karnish (Gad) is excited to make his Ohio stage debut after spending the summer in Alaska performing for Princess Cruise Lines. Professional theater credits include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip Tolentino) with Alaska Shakespeare Festival, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Schroeder) with Thin Air Theatre Company in Cripple Creek, Colorado, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Gad) at The Fireside Theatre in his home state of Wisconsin. Geoff holds a BA in Musical Theatre from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and London Metropolitan University. Love and thanks to family and friends! 143. Aaron Keen (Asher) was last seen in Rockin’ The Point and A Halloween Hullabaloo at Cedar Point this past summer. He has studied vocal performance at The University of Akron and musical theatre at Ball State University in Muncie Indiana. Some of Aaron’s favorite shows include The Wedding Singer, Zombie Prom, My Fair Lady, Man of La Mancha, Street Scene, and Urinetown The Musical (Bobby Strong.) He is excited to be joining the 2011 cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support on his journey towards his dreams. He would also like to thank Scott Spence along with the Joseph cast and crew for such a fun and memorable experience. Ryan Kelley (Youth Chorus) is very excited to perform as part of the Youth Chorus in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, his first professional theater show at the Beck Center for the Arts. After six years rehearsing at the Beck Center in classes and in shows, he is ready to take on new challenges. Ryan has been seen in many youth theater productions here at

Beck including Into the Woods (Little Pig) and Tom Sawyer (Ben Rogers). He hopes to perform in many more Beck Center shows and activities in the future. Tyler Key (Youth Chorus) is honored to be back on Beck Center’s Mackey Main Stage for this encore production of Joseph…Dreamcoat. Tyler’s other Mackey Main Stage performances include the Beck’s Youth Theater productions of Seussical the Musical (Wickersham Brother), Cinderella (Coachman/Ensemble) and The Wizard of Oz (Munchkin Father/Flying Monkey). When not performing on stage, he enjoys singing in his church youth choir, dancing and musical performances. Tyler is an honor roll student at Willets Middle School in Brunswick. He would like to thank his mother Michelle Key, Nicholas Doran and his grandmother Dianne Burton for their unconditional love and support. Tyler would like to dedicate this performance in memory of his friend Charlie Kho (1998-2011). George Kukich (Potiphar) has performed in a number of area theaters over the past twenty years. His favorite roles include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Hysterium), Bye Bye Birdie (Conrad Birdie) and 1776 (Richard Henry Lee). George is a returning member of last year’s cast of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Currently, he and wife, Mary Kukich, are a part of the music group, Do Re Mi, featuring standards of the American Songbook. George plays sax/flute for the group, but is filling in on piano for the group until a new pianist can be found. Richard Larkin (Judah) is excited to reprise the role of Judah. To the fallen soldiers: my grandmother Jessie P. Larkin, my aunt Lottie L. Larkin, my dance partner Tashia Burch-York, and

my uncle Kelly Berts – may you all rest in peace. To my family and friends and to the Beck: There are no words. To Devon, Erin, Tricia, and the children: U have no idea. Bianca Legeza-Narvaez (Youth Chorus) has appeared in various Beck Youth Theater productions including Seussical The Musical!, Alice in Wonderland, Channel Zero, and summer camp performances. Her first professional theater appearance at Beck Center was in last season’s production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. A fifth-grader at Olmsted Falls Intermediate School, Bianca has also performed in several dance recitals in hip hop and tap. In addition to theater, she is involved in Tae Kwon Do, Girl Scouts and voice lessons. Bianca would like to thank her Beck Center theater family for this wonderful opportunity. She has enjoyed the chance to learn more about professional theater and has loved working with this talented cast! Chelsea Lewis (Wife) is so excited to join such an awesome cast! She was last seen performing in the Beck Center for the Art’s production of Hairspray. Originally from Cincinnati, Chelsea is a sophomore at Baldwin-Wallace College, studying theatre and dance. She is a proud company member of the Marquez Dance Project in Cleveland, and she works for Radio Disney and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Chelsea has been dancing for over fifteen years, training with Cincinnati Ballet, Point Park University, and the Giordano Jazz Dance Company. Recent shows include Church Basement Ladies (Signe) at Lacomedia Dinner Theatre, and The Nutcracker (Sugarplum Fairy) at St. Romain Dance Academy. She could not have gotten this far without the love and support from her family and friends!

G id eon Lor ete (Benjamin) is excited to portray Benjamin, the youngest of the brothers, and is delighted to join the Joseph…Dreamcoat cast in this encore production. Gideon is finishing his senior year at Bay High School to further pursue his dreams in Musical Theatre as well as in Forensic Science. He has performed in numerous shows such as Beck Youth Theater’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Mr. Thomnus) and Olmsted Performing Arts’ Les Miserables (Ensemble). He is also involved with the Singing Angels and Ohana Aloha’s Polynesian Dance Group. Gideon would like to express his gratitude to his family and friends for their support, his precious treasure, Chelsea Carreon, for her commitment, and to the beautiful cast for being there for me and offering their guidance. Jordan Renee Malin (Wife) is thrilled to return to Canaan this year! Most recently, she appeared in Chicago (Roxie) at Rabbit Run Theater and Bunnicula (Harry) at TrueNorth Theatre. Beck Center shows include: Jekyll and Hyde, My Favorite Year and Fiddler on the Roof. Jordan has been seen in various productions at Cleveland Public Theatre, Willoughby Fine Arts, Ashtabula Arts Center, Cleveland Play House, and Cassidy Theater. She sends much love to her family and her lovely puppies! Matt McClure (Swing) is thrilled to make his Beck Center debut in Joseph…Dreamcoat. A lifelong performer, Matt’s career has included news anchor, reporter, host, actor, and musician. He is the recipient of several Associated Press Awards, including Best Anchor/Reporter in Georgia for 2007, and can currently be seen in the New York City area as host of the newsmagazine show Currents on the cable channel NET. Matt studied Journalism at Gainesville State College and acting at New York’s prestigious HB Studio.

Favorite stage credits include the world premiere of Oswald in NYC (Leavelle), Forever Plaid (Smudge), The Fantasticks (El Gallo), Altar Boyz (Voice of God), The Sound of Music (Franz/Von Schreiber), and The Pirates of Penzance (Pirate/ Policeman). Thanks to Scott, friends, and family…And cookies to the king. Jade McGee (Youth Chorus) recently made her stage debut here in Beck Youth Theater’s production of Charlotte’s Web (Fern). For the past five years, she has been a Beck Center student taking classes in choir, acting and dance, and has also been a year-round student in musical theater at Cassidy Theatre since 2008. Currently a seventh-grader at Center Middle School in Strongsville, Jade is a member of the elite Mustang Limited Show Choir. Special thanks to her Cassidy Theatre teachers – Erin diLauro Fodor, Kate Michalski, Diana Kulgren Andrew Parmalee, and Matthew Ryan Thompson. Marlee McGorray (Youth Chorus) is pleased to perform in the Youth Chorus of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for her second year. She has been dancing and acting at the Beck Center since she was very young. Previously at the Beck Center, Marlee has been seen in Beck Youth Theater productions of The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Seussical The Musical!, and Cats. She enjoys playing the bassoon and taking jazz, ballet and pointe classes at Beck Center. Aidan McKeon (Youth Chorus) is in sixth grade at Woodbury in Shaker Heights. He is so excited to be in the cast of Joseph…Dreamcoat! Some of his favorite shows include The Music Man (Harold Hill) Annie (Oliver Warbucks) and, here at Beck Center, Youth Theater productions of Charlotte’s Web, Cats, Suessical The Musical! and Tom Sawyer.

Moira Meehan (Youth Chorus) is glad to be back at the Beck Center performing in the encore production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and to see her “Joseph” friends again. Moira has appeared in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Balloon Angel) at Huntington Playhouse, Fairly Twisted Tales (TV Reporter/ Town Girl) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator) for the St. Raphael Drama Club. She has also performed several roles in Middle School: The Musical and Tom Sawyer for StageRight. Moira is currently a member of the Bay Middle School Student Council and enjoys art and horseback riding. Next year she looks forward to attending Bay High and being in the Marching Band. Go Rockets! *Josh Rhett Noble (Pharaoh) is elated to return to the Beck stage in the encore of Joseph! Best known for his portrayal of “Gaston” in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast here at Beck, as well as across the country, his recent New York credits include: the world premiere of Oswald (Agent Hosty), Carnegie Hall debut with the Scarsdale Wind Ensemble, and Rockers on Broadway at BB King’s in Times Square. Josh studied musical theatre at the University of Miami and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. Many thanks and love to his brothers and sisters of Canaan, his family, friends, and especially MJM. Brianna O’Boyle (Youth Chorus) This is Brianna’s first show at the Beck Center. Previous shows include: Snoopy the Musical (Lucy), The Women (Little Mary) and Annie (Pepper) where she served as the children’s dance captain at Cassidy Theatre. Most recent roles include: Seussical The Musical!, (The Cat) at Cuyahoga Community College and Alice in Wonderland Jr. (Alice) for the St. Mary’s Dramatic Arts Organization. Brianna takes voice lessons at Baldwin-Wallace College with Tracy Grady and studies dance at Rock City

Dance. She would like to thank her parents for allowing her to do what she loves and her sisters for their help and support. Finally, Brianna would like to thank God for being able to share the talents he gave her with others. Anna Ostrander (Youth Chorus) is thrilled to be back as part of the Joseph…Dreamcoat cast. Most recently, Anna was seen in Olmsted Performing Arts’ productions of Sleeping Beauty Kids, Mulan, Jr. and Into the Woods, Jr., Cassidy Theater’s Mother Goose is Eaten by Werewolves, and Mighty Goliath Productions’ Annie. A third-grader at St. Richard School in North Olmsted, Anna plays goalie for her soccer teams, sings in the youth choir, takes classes at Arlene Cassara Dance Studio, plays CYO basketball, is a Brownie scout, and loves singing, reading and Radio Disney. She has really enjoyed her experience with Beck Center and thanks the cast and crew for their support. Special thanks to family and friends for their love and encouragement! Jillian Salis (Youth Chorus) Twelve-year-old Jillian has been taking classes at the Beck Center since 2006. Beck Youth Theater credits include: Hillbilly Holiday, Alice in Wonderland, Lost for Words, The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, All Greek to Me, Seussical The Musical, Tom Sawyer, and CATS. Jillian also performs in school productions at (insert school name) where she is a seventh-grade student. When she is not acting, singing or dancing, Jillian enjoys participating in Girls Scouts, church youth group, running cross country, and playing the trumpet and piano. This fall she was a member of the North Olmsted High School Marching Band as a banner/flag carrier. She is very excited to return to the cast of Joseph..Dreamcoat at Beck. Jillian would like to thank her family for all of their support.

Justin Charles Schickler (Dan) is thrilled to return to the Beck Center stage. He first appeared here in the Studio Theater last season in Jerry Springer: The Opera (Audience). He recently graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a BA in Public Relations and Communications. While at BW, he studied voice at the Conservatory of Music. He has been seen in over 44 musicals throughout Ohio. Recent show credits include: Mame (Ensemble), The Wedding Singer (Ensemble), Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure (Twin 2), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Children of Eden (Cain/Japheth, Abel/Ham, Young Cain, and Young Abel), Something’s Afoot (Nigel), Hello Dolly (Cornelius), and Meet Me in St. Louis (Lonnie). Kailee Shaver (Youth Chorus) Ten-year-old Kailee is very excited to join the Joseph… Dreamcoat youth chorus. She has a passion for singing and has been performing since she was 6 years old. This past summer she sang the national anthem at two Cleveland Indians games. Last spring she performed in Beck Youth Theater’s production of Cats (Jemima) and in Everyman (Death) at Cleveland State University. Other credits include: Mulan (Cricket) and Aristocats (Roquefort) at Olmsted Performing Arts; Seussical The Musical (Who), Cinderella (Mouse/ Chef’s Assistant/Townsperson), and Wizard of Oz (Munchkin) in youth theater productions at the Beck Center. She has performed the past two years at the Green & White Revue. Upcoming projects include national anthem at Cleveland Cavaliers game and Oliver! with Mighty Goliath Productions. Erin Shoemaker (Wife) is excited to be traveling to Canaan this holiday season. Previous Beck Center credits include The Producers (Usherette), 2009 production of Peter Pan

(Indian), Reflections (Young Peggy Lee), and Jekyll and Hyde. Other local credits include A Chorus Line (Kristine) at Lorain Theater and West Side Story (Graziella) at Huntington Playhouse. Out of state credits include Chicago (Murderess) and Broadway Live! (Galinda). When not on stage Erin works as a Board Certified Music Therapist, where she is fortunate enough to share the joy and power of music with her clients. She wants to thank Scott, Larry, Martín, and Libby for the opportunity to work with such a fantastic cast. She wishes everyone, cast, crew, pit, and the audience members Happy Holidays! Devon Shriver (Wife) graduated from The University of Akron in 2005 with degrees in musical theater and child development. She’s been performing and choreographing in the Northeast Ohio area for 12 years, and most recently choreographed at the Brick Theater in Brooklyn, New York. She’s studied dance everywhere from the Ashtabula Arts Center in Ashtabula, Ohio, to New York City, to Chicago. Devon would like to thank her boyfriend, Joe for being extra supportive this holiday season. Hailey Smith (Wife) is very excited to be a part of this year’s production of Joseph and the Amazing TechnicolorDreamcoat. For over 10 years, Hailey has danced competitively at The Dance Center by Heidi Glynias where she studies jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. She also loves working with the smaller children in dance. Hailey has worked crew for many shows at the Beck Center, and loved to watch the productions from backstage. She is thrilled to be able to share this experience with her sister, Kelsey, who is an inspiration, and she would like to thank Heidi and her family for everything they have done for her!

Kelsey Elizabeth Smith (Wife) is overjoyed to be returning to the Beck Center stage in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, this time with her wonderful sister, Hailey! This marks her fifth holiday show at the Beck Center, including Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan. She was most recently seen at the Beck this summer in Hairspray (Shelly) as well as last season’s The Producers. When she’s not dancing and singing, she spends her days at Baldwin-Wallace College studying theater, art and entrepreneurship. Kelsey is also an avid baker of cupcakes and painter of 1950s pin-up girls. She thanks her family for their never-ending support, as well as Scott, Martín and Larry for their endless dedication, and the opportunity to once again share the stage with some of her closest friends! *Tricia Tanguy (Narrator) is excited to be back in Cleveland for the holidays and playing one of her favorite roles again! As a Strongsville native, she grew up on the stages of Berea Summer Theatre, Cassidy Theatre, Cain Park, in St. Ignatius High School productions, at PlayhouseSquare in the National Tour of Joseph...Dreamcoat (Children’s Chorus), and as a national anthem soloist for the Cleveland Indians. After earning her BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College, she went on to spend time on the road on the National Tours of The Producers (Hold Me, Touch Me/ Ensemble), Cats (Grizabella), and Joseph… Dreamcoat (Narrator). Tricia made her New York debut in the final Off-Broadway cast of The Marvelous Wonderettes as the Dance Captain and Understudy (covering all four roles). She spent last summer at Theatre Aspen as Suzy/ Dance Captain in The Marvelous Wonderettes with fellow original NY cast members, and this fall she made her directorial debut in Merry-GoRound Playhouse’s production of The Marvelous Wonderettes. Other NYC: the staged reading of Bobby Cronin’s Daybreak (Rebecca) at the Revision Theatre; Scott Alan’s Monday Night New Voices; the Algonquin Theater’s Cabaret Nights; a singer for the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop;

as a soloist for various benefit concerts, cabarets, and new works projects/demos/concerts. Much never-ending love and thanks to her amazing family and friends, and Go Rugrats! Tim Tavcar (Jacob) has worked as an actor/ singer/director on stages in Cleveland, Chicago, Houston, Washington DC (Kennedy Center) and New York City (Carnegie Recital Hall). He recently returned home to Cleveland after spending the past 14 years in Montpelier, Vermont where he served as Artistic Associate of Montpelier’s Lost Nation Theater, as a director, actor, dramaturg, and special events creator/ producer. Tim is very happy to return to the Beck stage reprising his role as “Daddy Jacob” in Joseph…Dreamcoat, where he has also been seen in My Fair Lady, HMS Pinafore and The Elephant Man. Other credits include Varicose Vanities at Dobama Theater, The Tempest at Cleveland State University and as a director for Cleveland Public Theatre’s Springboard Series, as well as mounting a new work for their Big Box Series in January 2012. His own chamber music theater, WordStage, was successfully launched this season, in residence at the West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Rocky River, with additional performances at Lakewood Public Library’s “Sundays With Friends” series. Matthew Ryan Thompson (Joseph) is thrilled to be back on the Beck stage performing as Joseph in the encore production of Joseph...Dreamcoat. He is a returning cast member having played Asher and Joseph U/S last season. Ryan was last seen on Beck’s Main Stage in this summer’s hit musical Hairspray (Corny Collins), as well as in Jerry Springer: The Opera (Tremont) in the Studio Theater. Ryan also had the opportunity to perform in Beck’s revival of Altar Boyz (Mark) at the Hanna Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. Though he’d like to think he got his start when he was a tot standing on the living room ottoman singing power ballads and Amy Grant songs into a dictaphone for his family...Ryan really got

his start onstage when he was in kindergarden through dance (tap, jazz and ballet) and quickly transitioned into musical theater where he has performed, competed and studied all over the United States and Canada. Off stage Ryan has worked behind the chair as a cutting and style specialist both locally (Ichiban Salon and Day Spa in Westlake) and nationally as a hairstylist on fashion shows, photo shoots and numerous musicals. This has been an amazing year for Ryan filled with many blessings and opportunities both on and off stage. Ryan is so happy and honored to have shared them with so many tremendously talented people. He owes all his love and thanks to his beautiful family, friends and mentors for their continued love, support and guidance. Enjoy the show! Justin W. Williams (Simeon/Butler) is thrilled to be back with his Joe bro’s in Canaan this holiday season. He was last seen on the Beck Center stage in Hairspray (Ensemble) this summer. Recently, Justin was seen as in A Little Night Music (Mr. Erlanson/Leibesleider) at Fairmont Performing Arts Conservatory and in the smash hit Blood Brothers (Edward Lyons) at Cassidy Theater. Some of Justin’s favorite past performances include Titanic (Frederick Barrett), West Side Story (Action), Altar Boyz (Juan), HAIR (Woof), and the Ohio premiere of RENT (Mark Cohen). When not on stage, Justin is the Assistant Nurse Manager of the Cardiovascular ICU at the Cleveland Clinic specializing in heart and lung tranplants. Trad A Burns (Scenic & Lighting Designer) Mr. Burns’ is a lighting and scenic designer based in Boston, Massachusetts. Designing over 500 productions during the last two decades, his varied work has been seen around the world. His extensive credits include designs for North Shore Music Theatre (Boston), New York Theatre Workshop (NYC), La Mama ETC (NYC), HERE (NYC), Classic Stage Company (NYC), The Public Theatre (NYC), Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Public Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Beck Center for the Arts, Boston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Ballet British Columbia, Washington Ballet, Spectrum Dance, Verb Ballets, Inlet Dance Theatre, Cedar Point, Knott’s Berry Farm, Kings Island, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Japan, Disney Sea, Woodstock Ice Productions, and The Family of Charles M. Benjamin Gantose (Associate Scenic & Lighting Designer) is an up and coming lighting designer in Northeast Ohio theater and dance, newly named a Resident Lighting Designer at Cleveland Public Theatre. As an associate designer for Trad A Burns, Benjamin has worked on The Marvelous Wonderettes, My Fair Lady, The Producers, Altar Boyz, at Beck Center and on various projects at PlayhouseSquare, and for Verb Ballets, Inlet Dance Theater, and Cincinnati Ballet, including multiple world premieres. Benjamin’s own recent designs include: Monster Play, Cut to Pieces, Insomnia, Darwinii, Mother/ Tongue, Don’t Call Me Fat and work with the Y-Haven project at Cleveland Public Theatre; Steel Magnolias at TrueNorth; A Little Night Music, Big The Musical, The Prime of Miss Jean Brody, Les Miserables, Company, and Pippin at Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory. Alison Garrigan (Costume Designer) Alison’s design work has been seen on the Beck Center stage for many years—aside from Joseph… Dreamcoat, her work may be remembered from such productions as The Producers, The Diary of Anne Frank, Miss Saigon, The Seagull, Hamlet, and Jekyll & Hyde the Musical, to name a few. She has designed at Cleveland State University,

Dobama Theatre, and most other area theaters. Ali is currently resident designer at both Cleveland Public Theatre and for the Opera Stage at Cleveland Institute of Music where her most recent productions were Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera, and Massenet’s Cendrillon. Richard B. Ingraham (Sound Designer) Richard is happy to return for his ninth season of work with the Beck Center. Favorite previous sound designs at Beck Center include: Wings, The Producers, Evil Dead The Musical, The Farnsworth Invention, History Boys, Equus, Beauty and the Beast, The Diary of Anne Frank, Agnes of God, and Of Mice and Men. Richard is a freelance sound designer based in the Cleveland area. He has worked at numerous theaters, schools and attractions in Northeast Ohio and throughout the US including: Ashland University, Cain Park, Chagrin Falls Performing Arts Academy, The Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Public Theatre, Cleveland State University, The Cleveland Theatre Company, Dobama Theatre, The University of Evansville, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, The Jewish Community Center of Cleveland, The Lincoln Amphitheatre, The Lincoln Library and Museum, Oberlin College, PlayhouseSquare Center, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Shakespeare and Company, Stone Mountain Park, and Willoughby Fine Arts Association. Richard is an adjunct faculty member at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh where he teaches Sound Design and other related course work. He has also worked as a consultant to awardwinning software companies that create products specifically for the needs of live performance including Stage Research and Richmond Sound Design. Joseph Carmola (Technical Director) is in his sixth year as Technical Director at the Beck Center. In the past Joe has served as Technical Director for Paul Green’s Trumpet in the Land, the Magical Theatre Company and Canton Players Guild. His freelance credits include lighting design and scenic artist, as well as a set design for Les Miserables Jr. which has been seen in many student programs throughout Northeast Ohio. He is the proud father of Clayton, and would like to thank Devon for all her support.
