Marseille – Euroméditerranée The largest city centre business area in southern Europe, focussing essentially on central corporate functions, international trade services, financial activities and TIC firms (multimedia, telecommunications, audio-visual) making Marseille a metropolis with European dimensions.



Nice – Arenas / Méridia A large business zone is being planned to the south of the Eco-Vallée National Interest operation on the Côte d'Azur around the nerve centre of the international Nice Côte d'Azur international airport.  L'arénas : within easy reach of the international airport, a floor space of 195,000 m² on 17 ha  Nice Méridia : an economic and architectural showcase for the Var plain developed on an area of 22 ha

The large science parks Sophia Antipolis – Europe’s largest Technology Park Sophia Antipolis is among the leading R&D hubs in Europe and remains as appealing as ever to companies and research facilities specialised in information technology, life sciences, environmental sciences and fine chemicals. Aix-en-Provence Technopole de l’environnement - Arbois Méditerranée The first European business park dedicated to the environment sector, near the Aix en Provence TGV (High Speed Train) station and the Marseille International Airport. 11,000 acres and a park of 260,000 sqm. An ideal location for companies as well as R&D centres (160 companies, research and training centres). Marseille-Provence Technopole in Château-Gombert This site dedicated to technological innovation is the first French site dedicated to the mechanics of energy and features a number of competencies in optics-photonics, astronomy, microelectronics, mathematics and science engineering. Marseille - Grand Luminy Technopôle This exceptional site houses a training and research centre, firms with an international reputation and a sports and leisure centre on an area of 1,000 hectares. Grand Luminy is home to an incubator specialising in biotechnologies. Avignon - Agroparc –regional technology park Pégase- technology park for innovative firms in the aeronautical sector A wide range of skills and service providers in the food industry, high tech and superior tertiary sectors. .

Durance -The ‘New energies’ Valley A 250 acre offer in 3 different business parks (125 acres available immediately). The area also has a 27 acre SEVESO 2 site dedicated to the photovoltaic sector. → ITER 15-35 minutes French Riviera Eco-Valley 25,000 acre area labelled “National Interest Project” dedicated to sustainable development. A potential of 1.5 million sqm for to the cleantech industry (R&D centres, headquarters). Toulon MarineTechno Park 210 000 sqm of offices in a business park reserved for developing marine and submarine sciences and technologies, especially Marine Energy, to be completed before 2012. Future head office of the Sea Innovation and Business Cluster, Pôle Mer PACA. Energies-Vaucluse-Provence 250 acre business park certified as “European Experimental Site for Sustainable Development” by the French Ministry of Environment.

The large logistic sites Fos – maritime industrial land Marseille port, the largest port in France and fourth largest in Europe, possesses maritime industrial land on an area of 10,000 hectares with a strong development potential. It is the only site in Europe which is capable of providing land-based and maritime areas which are easy to plan and combine safety and direct access to the Mediterranean basin. Avignon-Rhône valley An area of around 500 hectares between Bollène and Cavaillon is dedicated to logistic activities. This area is home to efficient infrastructures for multimodal transport and proximity with the consumer basin of Southern Europe which represents approximately 115 million consumers. Arcs sur Argens - Parc des Bréguières A multimodal logistic platform on an area of 68 ha is currently being developed in the urban community of Draguignan. Located alongside the A8 motorway between Marseille and Nice, it possesses a rail link and is ISO 14001 certified for its exemplary planning since the end of 2009. It is excepted to provide1,000 jobs in the long term. Arles - multimodal platform and river port Arles is the largest river port on the Rhône and the only one which is accessible to 3,000 tonne river/sea vessels. The river port of Arles covers an area of 11 hectares and possesses 40 000 m² of warehouses and 40 hectares dedicated to transport and logistic firms. Saint-Martin de Crau ZI Dedicated to land-based logistics. Half way between Spain (4h) and Italy (3h) by the motorway. Close to the sea port of Marseille. 90 ha planned for 350 000 sqm of buildings/ 2,000 jobs. 145 ha still to be planned.

The large industrial sites Avignon Nord – industrial park This industrial park, which extends over an area of 270ha, houses a large number of firms including Saint Gobain / SEPR, EURENCO / SNPE, SOPREMA Carros - Le Broc – industrial zone This zone covers an area of 188 ha . The 550 firms established on the site employs no less than 7,500 people

Rousset – microelectronics hub of Provence The Provencal microelectronics hub of Rousset-sur-Arc currently represents 35% of French production of semi-conductors in France and is classified as the main hub for France and Southern Europe. It is diversifying in the photovoltaic industry. Saint-Auban - Seveso 2 Industrial Site An industrial host site on an area of 11 hectares. Classified as a Seveso II site (upper threshold) the Arkema factory of Saint-Auban is certified ISO 9001 (version 2000) and ISO 14001. This site specialises in chlorochemicals and has received specific development aid. ITER 30 minutes

Toulon – La Seyne sur Mer The urban area of Toulon comprises numerous industrial business areas with major players such as CNIM and DCNS.

Large general-interest business zones Brignoles – Nicopolis A 112 hectare site in the central Var region close to the RN 7 between Aix-enProvence and Nice with immediate availability. 65 firms are already established here representing 1,500 employees. Fréjus / Saint-Raphaël – business hubs A number of areas dedicated to tertiary and technological activities such as the Epsilon Technopark in Saint-Raphaël and the Jean-Louis hub of excellence in Fréjus with immediate availability. Gap- Micropolis A business area dedicated to firms in the upper tertiary sector located to the south of Gap. ITER 45 minutes Signes-en-Provence, business park A 185 hectare business park on a country plain consisting of 80 firms and 1,600 employees. Immediate availability in the hinterland 35 km from Toulon. The park is home to major international groups (Coca Cola Midi, Ipsen Pharma Biotech, etc.) and regional SMEs. The site is currently undergoing ISO 14001 certification. Vitrolles – Marignane – business hub Based around Eurocopter, the leading European helicopter constructor, the Vitrolles business hub is home to 900 firms and 16,000 employees. The Floride Marignane park covers 80 ha.

The main zones in the Vallée des Energies (1/2) Saint Paul Lez-Durance – Le Castellet- Le Rourabeau In the immediate proximity of CEA Cadarache on an area of 20 ha, these areas are already home to around sixty firms. An incubator is also present. Extensions are underway. Immediate proximity of TER.

Pertuis – St-Martin An industrial and commercial site on an area of 60 ha. Incubator involved in specialised projects in the sectors of engineering and renewable energies. ITER 15 minutes

Aix-en-Provence – business hub 800 ha, 1,500 firms, 25,000 jobs. Diversified range: industrial buildings and office parks (700,000 sqm floor space) less than 15 minutes from Marseille-Provence airport and the Aix TGV station. ITER 30 minutes.

Manosque - St-Maurice Industrial site with a total area of 74 ha comprising 52 firms including the head office of the firm l’Occitane. ITER 15 minutes

The main zones in the Vallée des Energies (2/2) Manosque St-Joseph - Chanteprunier Industrial site with a total area of 63 ha 225 firms. Location of the international school. ITER 15 minutes. Peyruis - La Cassine Industrial site with a total area of 87ha. Specialising in renewable energies 10 firms. ITER 30 minutes. Sisteron business park - Val de Durance Industrial site with a total area of 32 ha (and 25ha planned) whose aim is to become a leader in the field of renewable energies. This area comprises a business centre which houses numerous offices and workshops. ITER 35 minutes Gap-Tallard – Aéropôle Industrial area specialising in the aeronautical sector 45 minutes ITER

Le Poët – ZA Les Grandes Blaches This mixed activity area of 7.2 ha is located along the valley of renewable energy . With the A51 highway that gives access to Provence and the Mediterranean territory, in close proximity to Northern Alps and the Italian Piemonte. 40 min drive from ITER.
