Background: A few years ago, we began to wrap 10 boneless chicken breasts in Keeps Fresh Packaging (KFP… that’s the airtight vacuum-sealed packaging). Some people loved it (let them use only what they needed without repackaging); others hated it (they found it messy, hard to open). We listened to understand both sentiments. Where we landed is to offer Family Pack Boneless Chicken Breasts in two different package types:

As I began to write this blog on packaging boneless chicken breasts, I was reminded of the quotation: “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.

This transition began very recently, and we appreciate your patience as the change plays out. You get to choose: If you like being able to cut off only the individually sealed portions you need, choose KFP. No need to trim or even handle individual portions. Opening all at once? Don’t mind trimming a little? Choose conventional tray pack.
