Features
Typical Applications
Standard
Automotive Remanufactured Parts Stainless Steel Blast Cabinet Rosler’s customizable blast cabinets are constructed of tig-welded, food-grade stainless steel panels and supports. This design provides rigid, leak-proof products, which are resistant to corrosion and contaminants. All models have power doors, self-cleaning viewing windows, and illuminated interior work surfaces. Manual machines are designed with heavy-duty rubber gloves and lining to provide a reduced noise environment.
Pump Design Rosler’s RWB’s pumps have a stainless steel and polyurethane construction. All wear parts are replaceable at the component level and provide excellent wear resistance. Water pressure sensors ensure the slurry flow is properly generated and remains within +/- 3 psi.If the slurry pressure exceeds the set tolerance, the sensor should trigger a machine shuts down and display warning.
Abrasive Slurry Guns The abrasive gun on our RWB machines is made up of four solid-molded urethane guns with a boron carbide blast nozzle and recessed air jet. The material used to make our blast nozzles is the same material used in bulletproof vests, making them extremely wear-resistant and eliminating costly downtime.
Aerospace Parts Our RWB wet blasting system provides an extremely uniform finish. This uniformity allows the use of the RWB wet blasting system for controlled processing aerospace parts. Application ranging from controlled metal removal from jet engine turbine disks to eliminate stress risers and surface preparation of composite prior to bonding or coating are just a few application current performed using our RWB systems.
Mold Cleaning The cleaning of rubber, plastic, and some decorative glass molds are excellent applications for the RKS wet blasting process. Rosler’s wet blast systems have the ability to aggressively clean and, in some cases, polish without removing any metal. This preserves close-tolerance dimensions and sharp edges. Using glass beads to clean rubber molds yields increased up-time before recleaning is necessary.
Deburring Wet blasting is an ideal method for in-line, high volume deburring and finishing of castings for machining. Parts are simultaneously cleaned of coolants, surface finished, deburred, washed, and dried in one automatic system.
Optional Closed-Loop Filtration A closed loop filtration system separates the contaminants from the useful slurry. In addition, cleaned water is readied for recirculation to the enclosure for part rinsing and viewing window cleaning With the closed loop filtration systems, the need to connect to a drain is eliminated. This system includes moving bed filters, a centrifuge, a Weir bucket, and overflow settling tanks.
Upgraded Electrical Controls The HMI control panel monitors all machine parameters during the process cycle, as well as machine shut down status which is projects a fault display on the HMI screen. This provides part process and machine parameter set up, editing and saving the parameters to create an automated process.
Material Handling Systems Rosler can provide material handling systems to totally automate your process in a lean manufacturing environment. We can also provide simple, powered tables and baskets to increase your productivity with a manual wet blast machine.

The RWB wet blasting process has the ability to simultaneously clean and degrease equipment, eliminating the need to use harmful solvents. This works especially well on aluminum components that cannot be baked to degrease. Components like turbocharger parts will benefit from this system, since it has the ability to achieve a close tolerance.
Surface Conditioning Wet blasting has long been the preferred method for preparing surfaces for coating on a wide range of components. This approach leaves a superior level of cleanliness with an etched surface, free of impregnated media.
Paint Stripping of Sensitive Parts Aluminum Oxide or in certain cases, plastic media, are used to remove paint coatings from aircraft wheels for inspection prior to recoating and automobile wheels for reworking. Coating removal using Rosler’s wet blast systems leaves a clean contaminate free surface while eliminating any float dust and debris common with dry blasting operation and also has the ability to preserve existing corrosion coatings.
Robotic Automation Robotic gun motion has been successfully used for deburring of laser drill holes in nickel/chrome aircraft castings. Any applications requiring a precise and repeatable process is a candidate for our RWB system with robot guided nozzles.
