Day 1 Day 1: Los Angeles Today we will gather in Los Angeles, where our tour guide will meet you in the Baggage Claim Area of the Los Angeles International Airport (domestic flights) or at the Exit (international flights). Deluxe Hotel: Pacific Palm, La Puente, Double Tree, Norwalk or Similar Day 2 Day 2: Los Angeles - Santa Barbara - Solvang - San Francisco (425 miles) We will depart from Los Angeles in the morning and drive along the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway. We will stop in Santa Barbara, CA to sightsee a bit and later at the Denmark Village in Solvang, CA. After touring Solvang, we will continue on to San Francisco.

Santa Barbara, CA "The American Riviera" in southern California is known for its year-round warm weather. It features miles of beaches as well as historic landmarks like the Mission Santa Barbara, a stillfunctioning church founded by Spanish missionaries in the 18th century.

Solvang, CA Denmark Village This small city near Santa Barbara, California is a popular California tourist spot due to its historical significance. The town was settled by Danish immigrants, and today serves as a portal to the past for curious visitors. Standard Hotel: Courtyard Marriott or Similar Day 3 Day 3: San Francisco - Stanford - San Francisco (36 miles) In the morning we will visit Stanford University. Please note that new policies enacted by the school mean that on some days tour busses cannot visit the campus; see below for blackout dates. After, we will tour the amazing city of San Francisco, CA. Guests may choose to take a Bay Cruise to experience the city's sights from the water. At around 3:00pm, guests may choose to either have some free time or join an optional extensive San Francisco tour, which will cover St. Mary Cathedral's, Twin Peaks, the Civic Center, and much more.

Stanford, CA  Stanford University Located in northwestern Silicon Valley, this famous research institution is not just one of the best schools in the United States, but one of the top universities in the world. Its large campus is a sight to behold. Please note that new policies enacted by the school mean that on some days tour busses cannot visit the campus. San Francisco, CA  Golden Gate Bridge The iconic arches of San Francisco, California's Golden Gate Bridge are known the world over as a symbol of California and the San Francisco Bay area. From movies to postcards, the Golden Gate Bridge is an American icon.



Fisherman's Wharf This San Francisco neighborhood is a popular tourist area due to its lovely scenery and abundance of shops, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. The area also hosts several annual events, such as a July 4th fireworks show.

 Palace of Fine Art The grandiosely-named Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California is a huge, ornate outdoor structure that is part of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Its amazing architecture has made it popular for weddings and photography.

 Lombard Street Lombard Street is a famous road in San Francisco that is known for having eight steep, hairpin turns climbing up a one-block stretch between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets. The strange-looking stretch of road is a famous Bay Area spot.

 San Francisco Bay Cruise In addition to a unique vantage point from which to view the Bay Area's skyline, guests will also get a look at Angel Island-- home of the infamous Alcatraz prison-- and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. We will have almost two hours to experience natural wonders such as El Capitan , the Bridal Veil Falls, the mighty Yosemite Falls, the Tunnel View, and the Half Dome. We will leave the park before lunchtime to drive to Los Angeles, where we should arrive at approximately 6:40pm.

Yosemite National Park  El Capitan The largest granite monolith in the world, El Capitan is located across from Bridalveil Falls in Yosemite National Park. It juts up about 3,000 feet from the ground, and is a favorite of experienced rock climbers.

 Bridal Veil Falls Located in the Yosemite Valley California's Yosemite National Park, Bridal Veil Falls are one of the park's most famous sites. Millions of people every year come to see the 617-foot-high waterfall, which flows year-round.

 Tunnel View One of Yosemite National Park's most popular outlooks, the Tunnel View near the Wawona Tunnel is often the first look at some of the famous formations visitors get. The site was renovated and re-dedicated in October of 2008.



Half Dome The Half Dome is one of the most recognizable formations in California's Yosemite National Park. It is known the world over as a challenging and rewarding hiking and mountain climbing location, attracting thousands of adventurers every year. Guests will also have the opportunity to take a Helicopter Tour of the canyon. On our way back to Vegas, we will stop at the Hoover Dam. Upon our arrival back at the city, guests are invited on an in-depth night tour of the Strip.

Grand Canyon  Grand Canyon West Rim Grand Canyon West is a separate tourist area run by the Hualapai Tribe of Indians. Optional activities which can be done at an extra cost include helicopter tours, the educational "Indian Village," and the Skywalk Glass Bridge. Day 7: Las Vegas - Barstow - Los Angeles (278 miles) Before we leave Las Vegas, we will travel to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens. On our way back to Los Angeles, we will stop in Barstow, CA, to visit the Tanger Outlets. We will arrive back in LA at night.

Las Vegas, NV Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens A unique combination of food and flora, the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens outside of Las Vegas, NV has something for everyone. Barstow, CA  Tanger Outlet Center The Tanger Outlets in Barstow, California-- about halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas-- offer designer wares at bargain prices. Departure & Return



Airport meeting: Your tour escort will be holding a sign with your name. Domestic arrivals, your tour escort will wait at the baggage claim area/outside of the arrival's (restricted) area. International arrivals, your tour escort will wait just outside of customs exit.



Airport pickup: Please provide arrival/return flight schedules at the time of booking or at least 3 business days prior to departure. Otherwise, you will be required to proceed to the hotel at your own expense.



Flight arrangement: There are still travel activities on the last day of the tour. Make sure to book a return flight departing from Los Angeles after 9:30pm (domestic flight) or 10:30pm (international flight) on the last day. We highly suggest booking air ticket(s) 1 hour later than suggested time during high season (summer holiday, national holidays).
