St. Pius X School Pre-Kindergarten for ages 3 & 4

Congratulations are offered to Joseph & Katherine (Kamp) Collins of Chicago, IL, on the Baptism of their daughter, Elizabeth Olive Collins, who was baptized on August 13, 2016. We welcome her to the St. Clare Catholic community.

Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Monday, August 15, 2016

Not a day of holy obligation this year.

The Book Club will meet again on Monday, August 22, at noon in the Parish Center.

The St. Pius X School Pre-Kindergarten program offers the best of both worlds, the RI Early Learning Standards and the Diocese of Providence pre-kindergarten guidelines. It is more than just a day care, and generally less expensive. The young students get hands-on experience in a center-based environment housed in our new wing. In addition to classroom instruction and interpersonal skill training, our students receive music and art instruction from our specials teachers, as well as library time. They also learn drama by performing at our assemblies. Students experience community service by visiting our neighboring nursing home, bringing smiles to the elderly through their companionship and song. For a tour, please call 596-5735.

We will be discussing The Summer Before the War by Helen Simonson and on Monday, September 19, Once We Were Brothers by Ronald Balson

Be the change you wish to see.

Be sure to bring a bag lunch. All are welcome to join.
