Objective • To test knowledge of West Virginia facts and trivia.
Step-by-Step
Birthday in a Box
1. Divide group into three Jeopardy teams. 2. Choose an appropriate version of the West Virginia Jeopardy PowerPoint (Younger or Older, Version 1, or Version 2.) (See Appendix.)
Supplies Needed
3. Using the West Virginia Jeopardy PowerPoint (or trivia questions) have teams answer questions for points.
• West Virginia Jeopardy PowerPoint or copy of trivia questions.
4. Remember:
• Laptop, projector, screen, and speakers (if using sound). • Flipchart or other method of keeping score.
• Missing a question results in losing the amount of points the question is worth. • Double Jeopardy is worth double the points listed. • For Final Jeopardy, teams must decide the amount of points to be “wagered” before the question is asked.
• Flipchart to track Jeopardy board questions asked.
Summary Participants will take part in a West Virginia Jeopardy trivia challenge.
