Kotka WELCOME TO THE SOUTHEAST COAST OF FINLAND Southeast135° is a region located at the Southeastern coastline of Finland, right where the rapids of the River Kymijoki, the biggest river in Southern Finland, rush to meet the sea. Southeast135° consists of wonderful nature and city parks. It offers outstanding cultural events and sights as well as dazzling history of the border region and at only one hour journey from Helsinki on the E18 highway. The City Port is situated in the city centre of Kotka, close to the old cities Porvoo, Loviisa and Hamina - just a stone’s throw from the Russian border.

Distance from cruise piers to city center: From Kantasatama City Terminal to City Center 0,5 km, from Mussalo Terminals B & C to City Center 5 km/10 min. To Helsinki International Airport 120 km/60 min. Transport to/from city center: Shuttle buses available. Kantasatama City Terminal wihin walking distance.

Kotka SELECTED ATTRACTIONS Kotka Maretarium: Discover the way of life hidden beneath the water surface. You can meet face to face with about 60 different species of fish native to Finland. Maritime Centre Vellamo: A fascinating piece of architecture which presents the maritime history of the region and Finland in real harbour environment.

Kotka Parks: Sapokka Water Garden, Sibelius Park, Sculpture Promenade, Katariina Seaside Park, Isopuisto Park, Herb Garden Redoubt Kotka, Fuksinpuisto Park, Palotorninvuori Park are all situated in Kotka city centre. 3

Kotka EXCITING EXTRAS Sculpture Promenade: Art city walk along Keskuskatu linden boulevard right in the heart of city centre. The Archipelago of Kotka: One of the most beautiful parts of the Gulf of Finland, which in part is a national park including some 400 islands.
