Horse Care Protocol for Lessons & Shows All horses should be groomed, tacked, and cared for as if they were walking into the show ring AT ALL TIMES! - All halters and lead ropes are hung by the horses stalls. Every horse must be lead with an un-looped lead rope to and from the stall and or paddock. - All grooming supplies are located in boxes by the tack room. * Horses are groomed with a curry (use a soft curry or mitt for the legs and head) * Medium brush * Pick hooves * Brush mane and forelock * Fly spray and go over with soft brush

3

Every horse has its own bridle hanging in the tack room. - Every horse must go in a proper fitting girth. * If the girth can be tightened all the way up on both sides this means your girth is TOO BIG and you need to get another one. - After riding, horses can be un-tacked in the aisle of the barn. - ALL dirty/sweaty pads can go directly into the laundry in the tack room. Horses must be bathed and scrubbed with a sponge all over, including their head and face. – Do not spray them directly in the face! - If the horse’s legs are sandy, please hose their legs and belly and thoroughly rinse off.

- After bridles are clean please tie up properly and put away in the correct spot. If you don’t know how to tie up a bridle we will be happy to show you.

As you can see, we like to pay close attention to detail at Condee, so we need all of you to help!!!
