So you know the drill… everyone buys a gift and then gets one back. This year, instead of swapping gifts, why not ‘favours’ instead? A bit like teenagers and their pocket money, offer a ‘job’ you’ll do (such as making tea for a day, doing the lunch run or cleaning desks). CHRISTMAS CLOBBER

Throw on your Christmas clobber: pull on that Christmas pullover, stick in your flashing Christmas earrings or grow a Santa beard – the tackier the better. Or get creative and decorate old woolly jumpers and hats with a fun festive theme. Gather your friends, colleagues and classmates and ask them to donate £2 to take part. Don’t forget to download and print out your special Christmas clobber poster.

CHRISTMAS SPARKLE

Turn offices, classrooms, and workspaces (wherever you are!) into Christmas grottos by hosting a decorating competition. Tons of fun and a great way to kick off the festive fun. Classrooms and offices can challenge each other to decorate their space and win a prize. You may like to choose a theme – think Hogwarts at Christmas or The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Raise money by asking for donations to take part, or by hosting a mini coffee morning at the same time. Don’t forget to download and print out your special Christmas sparkle poster.

TOO BUSY TO FUNDRAISE BUT STILL WANT TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE WITH CANCER THIS CHRISTMAS? If you’re already having a Christmas party at your school, work, local club or pub then why not just add a festive fundraising element such as a quick raffle or lucky dip. We find the simplest ideas are often the most effective. Get in touch with us for more ideas!
