INDUSTRIES SERVED Construction

All of our construction courses are certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), which was established by the world’s largest and most progressive contractors and national trade associations. In an effort to provide students and craft professionals with industry-recognized credentials and assure national portability of skills, NCCER ‘s National Registry provides transcripts, certificates, and wallet cards to students who successfully complete the Contren© Learning Series curriculum through an NCCER Accredited Sponsor. These valuable industry credentials benefit students as they seek employment and build their careers.

Energy

Oil and gas workers carry out the plans for drilling that petroleum engineers have designed. They operate the equipment that drills the well and removes the oil or gas. The U.S. Rocky Mountain Region is, and will continue to be, a very valuable source of natural gas in the future. The jobs that need to be filled pay extremely well. The Rocky Mountain gas drilling industry has the highest paying wages in the country. In fact, the oil and gas industry, on average, has the highest paying salaries overall.

Transportation

Heavy and tractor-trailer truck drivers transport goods from one location to another. Most tractor-trailer drivers are long-haul drivers and operate trucks with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds per gross vehicle weight. They deliver goods over intercity routes, sometimes spanning several states. Working as a long-haul truck driver is a major lifestyle choice because these drivers can be away from home for days or weeks at a time. They spend much of this time alone.

Hospitality Healthcare

Let our experts with deep experience in the healthcare and information technology industries help your organization to understand, improve or verify compliance with Federal HIPAA regulations. The WCA Regional Training Center will work closely with your existing IT provider to ensure that you have what you need to run your business with maximum efficiency and reliability while maintaining compliance with federal law.
