Hello.

This is a guide to the basic visual elements that make up the 3P Learning brand. Have a read, it will help you get to know us better.

Photography

01 Logo on white or mostly white background Our logo is a bright and strong visual and wherever possible should be allowed to shine in it’s own right. When the use of photographic backgrounds is not applicable, it is not to be placed on strong dominant block colours. Our logo is blue and its favourite colour is white. Respect its wishes.

Our Logo is a very valuable asset. We must treat it nicely. Never abuse our logo, it doesn’t have arms and it can’t fight back (our CMO and our lawyers however, are another story).

02 Logo on photographic backgrounds Wherever possible, our logo likes to sit in a real world context, through the use of placement in photographic backgrounds. These backgrounds help the logo feel part of its environment rather than an outsider at the party. A series of approved photographic background are available – featured later in this guide. In situations of darker or contrasting colours, the version with white lettering should be used.

Do’s & don’ts You wouldn’t wear one blue and one purple sock. Take a moment to think about how you apply the 3P Learning logo. We are not a rules and regulations kind of company, nonetheless here are some examples of what we think is OK, and what should be punishable by a red-hot poker to the buttocks.

01 Space around the logo

02 Placing in context

03 Multi-lingual

Always leave some room for the logo to breathe. Don’t crowd it.

Where possible place the logo within relevant a photographic context.

For non-Roman alphabet versions of the logo, only approved positioning on the logo is permitted.

04 Not cool

05 Our logo is not radioactive

06 No shadow puppets

Only use transparent logo where visually applicable.

No shines, no gloss, no glow. Avoid backgrounds in a similar shade of blue.

Our logo is flat and strictly 2D. Like a cloudy day, it has no shadows.

07 Red alert!

08 No slants

09 No crash diets

Do not sit the logo on strong or overpowering colours.

Our logo likes to sit flat. It does not slant and it does not rotate.

Be sure to resize the logo in proportion (hold down SHIFT when dragging to resize).

01 Bryant (OTF) - Light Alternate

02 Bryant (OTF) - Regular Alternate

03 Bryant (OTF) - Medium Alternate

This is the simplest – and finest – of all members of the Bryant family. It should be used in instances only where larger font sizes are applicable – such as our short branding headlines (for example the wording “our typeface” on this page). Light Alternate is less effective at smaller font sizes, such as in main body text.

This is a slightly meatier version of Bryant, with a slightly thicker character size. It is also the font of the 3P Learning logo itself and is the only permitted font for the logo strapline. This is the perfect font to be used for both headlines and body text – and should be the main font used in day-to-day production.

This is the thickest of all three Bryant versions. It is not to be used in headlines or at large font sizes, as at these sizes will cross the line between “simple” into “childish”. At smaller font sizes it is great for sections of body text that need emphasis. Do not use ‘bold’ for this font.

Our typeface. The Bryant type family is our corporate font. Not that any of us wear suits that often. Bryant is clean, simple, fresh and modern. Just like us. It is great for headlines and body text. Use one of the three approved Bryant fonts wherever possible. 6

are what we are. They give us our personality. We are bold, colourful and confident. They and bright and they are clear, without becoming “Primary School Wallchart.” Look after our colours.

Whenever possible with solid colour backgrounds text should be white.

03 3P Learning text - mainstream Dark blue and grey are the new blacks. Wherever possible, block body text should be either dark blue or grey. Black is too stark in partnership with the bright blues of 3P Learning.

A place for schools and families to love learning. This is our main strapline in English. • Wherever relevant, the 3P Learning logo should appear with the strapline. • Lower case L’s are a visual feature of the strapline. • Remember the full stop. • Font size should always match that of the logo text • The logo has been cleverly designed to accommodate the strapline in a number of set positions. Pick the one that best suits the usage. Keep things tidy. We love creativity, but we also like rules.
