Contents Small, medium, and large shapes are given to teach relative sizes. Square, Rectangle, Triangle, Oval, Circle, Lines, Heart, House, Star, Flower Color percentages are given for the purpose of explaining how colors are made from mixing Magenta, Cyan, Yellow, and Black. This could be used as a guide for mixing paint colors if those colors are used as a starting point. Those paint colors are sometimes difficult to find because we usually teach children that the primary colors are [fire engine] Red, Yellow, and [ultramarine] Blue. For the purposes of learning how to mix paint colors, those colors do not work together, and they make muddy, unsatisfying hues when mixed.
