Visiting? Sunday services in Spanish led by Ed Vernoy, Pastor of Hispanic Ministries, are held on Sundays at 11 a.m. in Room 217 of the Beaufort campus. We offer nursery for newborn to four years old. If your child has a tendency to cry during the worship service, we invite you to join other parents in Rooms 112 and 113 where we broadcast on closed circuit TV. All nursing moms are invited to make use of the privacy of Room C103A or 111. Sunday sermons and Wednesday night sessions are available on our website, communitybiblechurch.us, for live streaming as well as for later viewing. Live and past services are now available on Roku and Apple TV (4th generation). CDs and DVDs of each sermon can be ordered at the reception desk, the media table in the resource center next to the Missions Café, or by completing an order form (located on the back of the seat in front of you) and placing it in the offering bag. Please reference sermons by name or date when ordering. Please note that the parking lot located between the front entry of the children's building and the pond is now a designated lot for “first-time visitors with children.” New signage is now in place directing “first-time families” where to park on Sunday. The Mighty Men Conference with Dr. Paul David Freed will be held Friday, January 27, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 28 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Breakfast will be served Saturday at 7:30 a.m. This conference is for ages 12 and up. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for ages 12-17. Register online at www.communitybiblechurch.us/mightymen. Together with their families, Anna Owens and Jesse Klausman would love to invite you to celebrate their marriage on Saturday, December 17, at 2 p.m. A seat will be reserved at the reception only for those who kindly reply to [email protected] by December 6. AWANA clubs in Beaufort and Bluffton meet tonight (includes the Crossroads Choir at the Beaufort campus).

1 SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2016 "Hark! the Herald Angels Sing” Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King; Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!' Joyful, all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies; With th'angelic host proclaim, "Christ is born in Bethlehem!" Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King." Christ, by highest heav'n adored; Christ, the everlasting Lord! Late in time behold Him come, offspring of the Virgin's womb: Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; Hail th'incarnate Deity, Pleased as man with men to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel. Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King." Hail the heav'n born Prince of Peace! Hail the Son of Righteousness! Light and life to all He brings, ris'n with healing in His wings. Mild He lays His glory by, born that man no more may die, Born to raise the sons of earth, born to give them second birth. Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King."

"Angels We Have Heard on High" Angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o'er the plains; And the mountains in reply echo back their joyous strains. (Chorus) Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo. Shepherds, why this jubilee? Why your joyous strains prolong? Say what may the tidings be, which inspire your heavenly song? (Chorus) Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo. Come to Bethlehem, and see Him whose birth the angels sing; Come, adore on bended knee Christ the Lord, the newborn King. (Chorus) Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo.

2 “One Still Night” One still night, Mary awoke, stirred by an angel, she trembled as he spoke. One small Child would soon be born; the King of kings will wear a crown of thorns. (Chorus) “Glory to God,” the angels sang, “Immanuel was born for you this day; peace on earth, good will toward men, Immanuel has come to Bethlehem, Immanuel has come to Bethlehem.” One still night, while Joseph dreamed, he saw an angel within his troubled sleep. One small Child, his bride would give, Deliverer delivered to save us from our sin. (Chorus) “Glory to God,” the angels sang, “Immanuel was born for you this day; peace on earth, good will toward men, Immanuel has come to Bethlehem, Immanuel has come to Bethlehem.” And to His kingdom there’ll be no end; And to His kingdom there’ll be no end And to His kingdom there’ll be no end One still night, a light was shown that all the darkness could never overcome. (Chorus) “Glory to God,” the angels sang, “Immanuel was born for you this day; peace on earth, good will toward men, Immanuel has come to Bethlehem, Immanuel has come to Bethlehem.” “Immanuel” From the squalor of a borrowed stable, by the Spirit and a virgin's faith; To the anguish and the shame of scandal came the Savior of the human race! But the skies were filled with the praise of heaven, shepherds listen as the angels tell of the Gift of God come down to man at the dawning of Immanuel. King of heaven now the Friend of sinners, humble Servant in the Father's hands Filled with power and the Holy Spirit, filled with mercy for the broken man. Yes, He walked my road and He felt my pain, joys and sorrows that I know so well; yet His righteous steps give me hope again: I will follow my Immanuel! Through the kisses of a friend's betrayal, He was lifted on a cruel cross; He was punished for a world's transgressions, He was suffering to save the lost. He fights for breath, He fights for me, loosing sinners from the claims of hell; and with a shout our souls are free - death defeated by Immanuel! Now He's reigning in the place of honor, crowned with glory on the highest throne, interceding for His own beloved till His Father calls to bring them home! Then the skies will part as the trumpet sounds --hope of heaven or the fear of hell; but the Bride will run to her Lover's arms, giving glory to Immanuel!

3 "Angels from the Realms of Glory" Angels from the realms of glory, wing your flight o'er all the earth; Ye who sang creation's story, now proclaim Messiah's birth: (Chorus) Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King. Shepherds, in the fields abiding, watching o'er your flocks by night, God with man is now residing, yonder shines the infant Light: (Chorus) Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King. Sages, leave your contemplations, brighter visions beam afar. Seek the great Desire of nations, ye have seen His natal star: (Chorus) Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King. Saints before the altar bending, watching long in hope and fear, Suddenly the Lord, descending, in His temple shall appear: (Chorus) Come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King.

“O Come, All Ye Faithful” O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem! Come and behold Him, born the King of angels. (Chorus) O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord! Sing choirs of angels, sing in exultation, O sing, all ye bright hosts of heav’n above. Glory to God, all glory in the highest! (Chorus) O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord! Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning, Jesus, to Thee be all glory giv’n; Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing! (Chorus) O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!

5 INVITATION “Who Is He in Yonder Stall” Who is He in yonder stall, at whose feet the shepherds fall? Who is He in deep distress, fasting in the wilderness? (Chorus) ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! the King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall; Crown Him! crown Him, Lord of all! Who is He the people bless for His words of gentleness? Who is He to whom they bring all the sick and sorrowing? (Chorus) ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! the King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall; Crown Him! crown Him, Lord of all! Who is He that stands and weeps at the grave where Lazarus sleeps? Who is He the gath’ring throng greet with loud triumphant song? (Chorus) ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! the King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall; Crown Him! crown Him, Lord of all! Lo! at midnight, who is He prays in dark Gethsemane? Who is He on yonder tree dies in grief and agony? (Chorus) ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! the King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall; Crown Him! crown Him, Lord of all! Who is He that from the grave comes to heal and help and save? Who is He that from His throne rules through all the world alone? (Chorus) ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! the King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall; Crown Him! crown Him, Lord of all!
