IN NTRODUCTI ON  Th he iTach Flex iss capable of using a newly im mplemented REESTful HTTP APPI (REST, or Rep presentational State Transferr, refers to  th he style of proggramming speccifically designed for distributed systems annd used in web b APIs). The REEST interface allows for  w web based control implementtations built on n the HTTP stan ndard and allow ws for statelesss communicattions with the iTach Flex  (n no persistent so ocket connectiion needs to be e opened). To accomplish th is, unit resourcces have been designated UR RL based  ad ddresses, and aall payload datta is serialized into JSON (JavaScript Object  Notation).  Beelow is the HTTTP request use ed to request the version of tthe target unit::  HTTP/1 1.1 GET  /version    where:  Address>/api/vv1"       is "http:// can be 0|1|2 for None, Evven or Odd
