The American Museum in Britain has the finest collection of Americana outside the United States. The hilltop site of the museum’s home, Claverton Manor built in 1820, is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and takes full advantage of the spectacular views over the valley of the River Avon. The museum and grounds offer a unique setting for both corporate and private events within the manor or garden where a marquee can be placed on the South Lawn.

Originally built for entertaining, the stunning Georgian Assembly Rooms offer a unique corporate hospitality experience. With nine Whitefriars crystal chandeliers and portraits by Gainsborough, Ramsey and Hoare, the venue makes a prestigious setting for any event. The Assembly Rooms are also home to the Fashion Museum, one of the world’s finest collections of fashionable dress.

The newly extended and award winning Orangery is available for private use as well as the ingeniously refurbished Stables & Coach House opened in 2011. The Stables, with its own audio visual equipment, offers a striking space for lectures, exhibitions or indeed dining and is complimented by the flexible space available in the adjacent Coach House.
