NEOLUX Brand, technology, history Road safety places especially tough demands on lighting solutions for vehicles. This is why NEOLUX put their faith in German Technology. Safety thanks to German Technology The NEOLUX brand means good quality headlights and signal lamps for price-conscious customers. Our product range includes special lamps for the discerning driver as well as standard replacement lamps. However, the following always applies: The intelligent lighting solutions from NEOLUX for cars, trucks, or motorcycles make German quality affordable. NEOLUX products are durable, manufactured according to German quality standards to meet legal safety requirements. NEOLUX vehicle lighting includes headlights, auxiliary lights and signal lights, lighting solutions with xenon and LED technology.

Research and development in Germany Vehicle headlights must be bright and reliable. This is the only way to ensure safety on the roads. To guarantee this, NEOLUX adheres strictly to stringent German technology standards during the entire manufacturing process. NEOLUX customers benefit from the wealth of expertise NEOLUX engineers use to keep developing technically demanding lighting solutions. An additional advantage is production exclusively according to strict German quality and safety standards, as NEOLUX is certified according to German standards. Marketing and product management also takes place in Germany. This all flows into integrated processes ensuring that each light meets all legal requirements and thus the needs of the customers.

History and tradition The links between the NEOLUX and OSRAM brands have a rich history: In 1923, the Swiss S.A. Lumière, based in Molsheim in Alsace, built a light bulb factory with an annual production of 800,000 units, NEOLUX emerging as a brand in 1927. In the 1930’s and 40’s, OSRAM Germany gradually invested in the company. In 1952, OSRAM and NEOLUX agreed on a strategic partnership under which NEOLUX in France then sold OSRAM products under the NEOLUX brand. At the start of the 1960’s, OSRAM acquired the rights to the OSRAM brand name for France, which had been lost during the First World War. Since 1965, NEOLUX was part of the OSRAM S.à.r.l. product portfolio. Today, the NEOLUX secondary brand is protected in more than ninety countries and is the hallmark of good quality headlights and indicator lights for price-conscious customers. The NEOLUX story German quality standards Many years of working closely with OSRAM has created a good reputation for quality, not least because road safety can only be made a reality with bright and reliable vehicle lamps. To consider the needs of their customers, NEOLUX guarantees German Technology standards at all stages of the supply chain. The research and development of our engineers forms the basis of our reliable lamps, which are manufactured according to strict German safety and quality standards. In order to continue compliance with requirements, divisions such as Marketing and Product Management are also based in Germany. Broad product range The validated German quality standards apply to the entire tried and trusted NEOLUX range of halogen and signal lamps, interior lighting right through to xenon and LED lamps. The NEOLUX portfolio therefore offers more than 90% of all key lamp technologies for cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The NEOLUX range is completed by products for special customer requirements. Clearly structured packaging and well-arranged displays make it easier for customers to select the right lamp type. NEOLUX always has the right vehicle lamp for almost any driver.

•• During the First World War: The OSRAM brand name rights in France were transferred to the Compagnie Francaise des Lampes based on the Versailles Treaties. •• 1923: S.A. Lumière from Goldau, Switzerland builds a factory in Molsheim, France: La Lampe NEOLUX S.à.r.l.
