Interconnectors
The above shows what could be the extent of the Northern European Super Grid that will also be further developed into the Mediterranean. Predominately its cable manufacturers that are contracted under EPC type agreement, but with larger projects being split into lots. Current projects include Nemo, Cobra, NSN, Norbolt, Western Link, Caithness with cables such as Norned, Norbolt, Ewip and Britned already in operation. 11

Canyon’s Current Trenching Equipment Our fleet of purpose built trenchers are available to trench and backfill in water depths up to 2500m. Operating in tracked, free fly or pipe follow mode, along with unique jetting and backfill tooling, each system can be customised based on project soil conditions and desired trench results. Current fleet consists of 5 Trenchers i-Trencher – 1725 HP T1200 – 1200HP T750 - 750 HP T600 - 600 HP T1500 – 1500HP

Triton Supertrencher I (T-1200)
Weight in air: 30 000kgs vs 3001500kgs in water dependant on configuration Ability to bury large diameter pipes up to 36” Ability to cut deeper trenches at greater speeds Soil strength up to 125kpa in a single pass Expands on design principles used on the proven T750 Trencher
18
T1200 - Tooling Deployment: •
Deployment system same design principle as T750.
•
Improved clearance within chassis increases system deployment angle.
•
Jetting swords can be individually deployed.
•
Side load monitoring possible.

LP Backwash – 2 x 86mm nozzles maintaining sand in suspension Trench base 20
i-Trencher 1,725 HP in total, 500HP at the cutting chain Rated for 1,500 m Water Depth Weight: 80te in air, circa 40te in water Up to 20” flexible and rigid products Trench Depth to 2m in one pass Matches Plough Performance Heavy Soils and Rock Cutting Zero Bollard Pull
21
Hard Soil Trenching - i-Trencher • i-Trencher is designed for hard soils; • Trenching technique is mechanical cutting and spoil removal by dredge pumps; • Backfill, if required, is by chain cutters excavating seabed soils to either side of the trench;
