Aqua Thermal Journey

Our Rasul mud is gently harvested from the glaciers of the Austrian Alps. It is 100% natural and derives from pure nature without the use of any additives or artificial ingredients. These detoxifying muds have been used for decades as part of a cleansing ritual combining steam and heat to draw out impurities and remove dead skin cells. After showering and exfoliating with salt, apply the mud to different parts of the body and leave to penetrate for 15-20 minutes to allow the mud to do its magic. Next shower yourself down in warm water to remove the mud, dry and finish with a refreshing seasonal body lotion. Now feel how soft your skin is!

We’ve been working closely with the NHS Christie Trust foundation to develop a range of gentle therapies, tailored to suit each guests needs. Our professional therapists have been trained in-house by Dr. Mackereth and his team, so we can provide a range of packages and treatments to care and support following a cancer diagnosis.

A six week course offering a weekly weigh-in in our private consultation room teamed with an optional half hour exercise session in our private gym with our qualified fitness instructor. During your journey you will benefit from expert advice from our in house registered Nutritional Therapist on healthier eating, diet planning, achievable goal setting and exercise ideas to give you that lift!

The Spa welcomes guests aged 18 years and over. We recommend where possible that you book your treatments in advance, whether you’re spending an hour, a day or a spa break with us.

Never hesitate to ask for a therapist’s advice on which treatments are best for you. We’re here to help and ensure you make the most of your time with us.

Group Bookings Please note that for group bookings, a maximum of 8 people at any one time can use The Spa facilities. Group reservations can be held for 48 hours only.

Cancellation Policy Full payment must be made at the time of booking for all reservations and appointments. We require 48 hours notice to cancel or amend individual bookings. We regret we are unable to refund payments. However, if the cancellation is made with 48 hours notice, monies paid can be used against a future booking.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your treatment, giving you time to complete a simple health questionnaire and to relax before you meet with your therapist. Unfortunately, if you are late for your appointment, this may result in your actual treatment time being curtailed. Treatments may be re-allocated by 15 minutes either side of a scheduled appointment. After your treatment, you are more than welcome to use one of our relaxation rooms, to sit or lay back and relax in either our ‘dark tranquil’ or ‘light countryside view’ rooms. For your own comfort and enjoyment we really recommend you only have a light snack or lunch before having a treatment, rather than a hearty meal.

Homecare Products, Gift Vouchers & Robes Homecare products and gift vouchers can be purchased 365 days a year by calling into The Spa reception and retail area, open 7 days a week from 10am until 8pm. Alternatively, gift vouchers can also be purchased via telephone or online at ribbyhall.co.uk/spa-hotel. Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. Products are available from each of our carefully chosen product houses including Elemis, NEOM, Jessica Mii and ishga. All of our treatments and packages can be booked subject to your medical status.

Etiquette We provide lockers, towels and flip flops free of charge for guests enjoying our Aqua Thermal Journey. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are also provided for these guests - these can all be found in the changing rooms. Guests staying overnight in The Spa Hotel will also find a complimentary robe in their wardrobes, please ensure you return your robe to your room before departing, to avoid additional charges. Swimwear is to be worn in the Aqua Thermal Journey and dry swimwear or suitable underwear is to be worn during all treatments and under robes within all dining areas within The Spa Hotel. We ask clients to consider and respect fellow guests and help maintain the peace and tranquillity of The Spa Hotel. Mobile phones are not permitted within The Spa itself. After you have enjoyed dining in The Orangery, payment in full is required. Please ensure you have your preferred payment method with you. Please allow at least one hour after dining with us before using the Aqua Thermal Journey.
