Conservation is our business

Replacing windows in a conservation area or in listed buildings can be a minefield of rules and regulations. Ayrton has considerable experience of replacing traditional windows in conservation areas and listed buildings. We can negotiate with planning departments and steer the design through all the complex processes. We’ll liaise with architects and building control officers throughout installation, so you get stunning windows and doors that mirror the appearance of the originals.

Safe and secure with Ayrton ironmongery All our windows and doors are fitted with ironmongery, including insurance approved locks as standard. Our sash windows include restrictor bolts, sash lifts and fitch fasteners. Casement windows can be fitted with espagnolette closures or traditional lockable stays and fasteners. Our ironmongery comes in a wide range of finishes and is not only stylish, but also robust and of the highest quality.
