GAMES 1. PAPER CHASE / PODCHODY Paper chase (Podchody) – also known as Hare and Hounds or Chalk Chase – a kind of simple game for children and young people, often organized at the scout camps.
Equipment For the game you will need: pad something to write (markers, pens, etc.) ribbon or yarn for attaching sheets to trees / poles
Number of participants Two teams.
Rules Children are divided into two groups: those who chase and those who escape. The chasing group starts off 15 – 20 minutes after the escaping group. The objective is to find and solve all the tasks left by the first group. The escaping team wins if the tasks are not solved. The chasing team wins if they catch the escaping team before the escaping team reaches the final point of the race.
Place to play forest - due to the large area and many forest trails and the road leading to it is a very good place to have fun in stalking. In the forest arrows can be formed from branches or leaves. city - here you can draw arrows using chalk on the concrete.

2. CHAIRS / KRZESŁA Equipment Chairs
Number of participants Three and more
Rules At the beginning five or six chairs are set in a circle. The number of the chairs must always be a chair less than the number of the players. When the music is heard, people begin walking around the chairs. But when the music is ended, they must sit on the chair as quickly as possible. The person who cannot find a chair to sit on it will be out. The game goes on several rounds and one chair is taken out and one player goes out. In the end, there are only two players and one chair. When the music is stopped, the player who captures the chair first wins the game.

3. BLIND MAN'S BUFF / CIUCIUBABKA Equipment a scarf or a piece of material
Numbers of participants unlimited number
Rules One child is chosen to be the Blind Man's Buff. That child is blindfolded (a scarf is tied on his eyes) and stands in the middle of the circle. The remaining participants surrounds the Blind Man's Buff in a circle. Next they all move around the Blind Man's Buff 3 times and ask: Children : Ciuciubabko, where are you standing? Blind Man's Buff: On the stone. Children: What are you drinking? Blind Man's Buff: Acid. Children: Catch us. The person who is the Blind Man's Buff catches the children without taking off a scarf and tries to guess his/ her name.This continues until all players are out of the game.

4. BOTTLE CAPS / KAPSLE Equipment Bottle caps

Rules This game can be played on various surfaces. The surface may contribute the excitement of the game. You can draw the way of the race on the game floor with a chalk. You can create a more challenging game floor by making narrows turns and also create bridges to go through them. The race can be done in teams, pairs or individuals. When it is your turn, you can only hit with your index finger. If your bottle cap goes out of the drawn boundaries, it is other players turn. Whoever reaches the finishing line wins the game.

5. TAG / BEREK Equipment a scarf or a piece of material

Rules One person is a tag and his/her task is to catch other players by touching the child with a hand. A touched player becomes a tag.

6. TOMATO / POMIDOR Equipment no materials needed
Numbers of participants unlimited number
Rules Everyone sits in the circle. The person who is “the tomato” stands in the centre of the circle. Each person asks him different questions. The only answer to every question can be tomato. The first person who makes “the tomato” laugh wins. In another version “the tomato” asks questions and the particpants answer “ the tomato”. If someone makes a mistake or smiles, gives a thing (for example a shoe, a key) for “the tomato”. At the end all participants have to do a task (sing a song, dance) to get a thing back.

7. HIDE AND SEEK / GRA W CHOWANEGO Equipment no materials needed

Rules One person counts to 20 (or more) with closed eyes, the rest children hide in different places. At the end of the counting the person who is seeking says “I'm looking for” and starts looking for the others. The hidden children must reach the base before being found by the seeker. The last found person is the winner of the game. The first found person becomes the seeker.

8. CAT AND MOUSE GAME / GRA W KOTKA I MYSZKĘ Equipment no materials needed

Rules One child is a mouse and the second is a cat. The rest of the children do a circle around them and hold hands. The player who is the mouse should stand inside the circle and the cat should stand outside the circle. The aim of the game is for the mouse to get outside the circle and avoid being caught by the cat. The circle players have to try and keep the cat away from the mouse by holding up their hands to let the mouse in and out of the circle.They can also block the cat's attempts to grab the mouse by standing in their way. If the mouse is caught, the mouse becomes the new cat.

9. DODGEBALL / DWA OGNIE Equipment ball
Numbers of participants two teams (3 – 10 children in each team)
Rules The aim of this game is to tag people from the opposie team with a ball. The players, except for the “Mum”, are not allowed to leave their part of the field. The “Mum” takes over every ball that leaves the opponents field and she/he may also tag people. A tag occurs when the thrown ball hits a player from the opposite team and then falls to the ground. The tagged player leaves the field. The game ends when all the players from one team are eliminated.

10. RAT / SZCZUR Equipment Rope ( 4 meters ) with something heavy at the far end

Rules One player is “ Rat” and he/she stands in the middle of the circle. The diametre of the circle is about 7 meters. The other players stand outside the circle but near its circumference. The player in the middle of the circle starts spinning the rope as low as he/she can. On call, which is given by the person in the middle, the rest players have to come inside the circle and start jumping over the rope. The player who touches the rope during jumping has to change the person in the middle. The game is over when everybody is tired.

11. CLASSES / KLASY
Equipment A bit of pavement or sidewalk somewhere out of the way a piece of chalk a small rock or stone

Rules The participant starts by throwing a rock into a field with name “1” then he/ she jumps with one leg and picks the rock up, continue jumping on the same one leg through all the sections keeping the balance, making sure that the leg does not touch the line. If the participant would make this fault – the next person starts. After the participant finishes a tour succesfully, he/she continue by throwing the rock into a field nimber “2”. The first one who finishes the all rounds wins.
The
participant jumps on one leg through the blocks "1", "2", "3", then she/he may rest by putting her/his both legs on the pavement - the left on number "4" and the right on "5" , then jumps on "6" and "7" + "8" with both legs, then she/he flips the legs turning 180 degrees and repeats it again. There are some variations of this - the participant can jump in more difficult versions with only left leg or with the crossed legs.

12. DICES / KOŚCI Equipment 5 small stones or dices a flat surface
Numbers of players Two or more
Rules There are 6 levels. The only way to win is to complete all 6 levels. When someone fails on a level he passes the stones and the next player starts his turn. When the player fails and gets his turn back he must start from the beginning of the level. Level 1 Spread the stones by putting them in your hand and let them roll down just like when using a dice. You pick one sone and throw it in the air and when it is in the air you try to pick up one stone. Once you have it you must be prepared for the stone in the air because you must catch it with the other stone in your hand. Once you catch the stone, put it aside. Repeat this with each stone. If you do not mess up any time, then you have finished level one. Level 2 Roll the stones just like in level 1, and pick a stone to throw up in the air. Once it is thrown you must quickly pick up 2 stones from the ground and catch the stone that you threw up. Put the two stones aside and repeat with the two other pair. Level 3 Very similar to level 1 and 2. The only difference: first time pick up one stone. Second time pick pick up 3. Level 4 Keep all 5 stones in your hand. Throw one – put the other 4 on the ground and catch the stone that you threw. Throw your stone again – pick up all 4 stones. Don’t forget to catch the one that is in the air. Level 5 This level is very hard. You throw all 5 stones at once. Turn quickly

your hand so at a least few of the stones land on the top of your hand. Then drop the stones between your fingers except one. Throw this stone – pick up all 4 stones and catch the stone that was thrown in the air. Uff! Level 6 Similar to level 1 but instead of putting aside the picked up stones, keep them in the palm of your hand while throwing and catching the others.

13. CHINESE JUMP ROPE / GUMA Equipment A rope ( a gum )
Numbers of participants Two and more
Rules Two people strech their gum on their ankles, standing about six feet apart from each other. The rubber needs to be extended to form two lines at a distance of about fifty centimeters. First, the player standing in the middle has to jump over the first line. After this step, he/she has to jump over the second line and turned around. And then he/she has to jump back just at the beginning. This process is repeated as the gum goes higher.
