LEARN TO SURVIVE AND ENJOY THE FOREST! The primary purpose of the CWA (Canadian Wilderness Adventures) program is to make available to international individuals and groups, the survival skills, safety, and enjoyment in the wilderness that our regular programs offer. Our program is open to international public groups as well as our private corporate and business group trips. The forest can provide great pleasure and enjoyment! Yet, every year hundreds of people become lost in the woods, and often perish needlessly. Their fate is often not a result of their situation, but is due to their lack of knowledge of the skills needed to deal with such a situation.

MISSION STATEMENT WSC Wilderness Survival School Inc. is a specialized progressive school, with headquarters in Kitchener, Ontario (near Toronto), Canada, whose prime focus is the instruction of wilderness survival skills.

Tour Operator’s Information Guide Our goal is to prevent loss of life when persons become lost or stranded, as well as to encourage the enjoyment and the adventure of being in a wilderness setting. We work extensively with camps, children, families, and corporations, including management, leadership, and team-building programs, in the forest. We provide comprehensive survival training for pilots, armed services, camp leaders, and search&rescue personnel.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE Everything from survival skills to canoeing to campfire songs! • A week in the Canadian wilderness, with several nights spent in the forest, in selfmade survival shelters or tents • Hiking and nature appreciation • How to pack, backpacking, setting up camp, primitive cooking over a fire • Starting fires without matches • Navigating through the forest with only a compass and map • Several nights in a lodge with formal instruction; most activities and several nights in the woods, rain or shine! • Wildlife calls and recognition • Survival team challenges • Free-time hiking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, touring • AND MUCH MORE! Located in southern Ontario, we conduct most of our wilderness trips in the region of the world-famous Algonquin Park, and the beautiful Georgian Bay area beside Lake Huron.
