Frequently Asked Questions We have Children attending, how will they be charged? Children’s Package: Aged between 12 & 17 years Children aged between 12 & 17 are counted as Adults and should be included in the full wedding package. We will provide soft drinks for them throughout the day, to replace the alcoholic drinks provided in the package Aged between 4 & 12 years Children aged between 6 & 12 are charged at a children’s package price @ £25.00 per person This includes: Specific Children’s Menu (see menu provided in this brochure) 2 x soft drinks during the wedding breakfast Aged 3 years or under Normally we do not cater for children under 3 given that they would not normally require a three-course meal. If this is the case for your little ones. there is no charge applied. However if you would like us to provide a meal for them, please let us know and we will discuss your individual requirements. We do not need all of the package elements, can the packages be changed? At the Crowne Plaza Reading, we understand that one package may not suit all. Therefore we would be more than happy to discuss your requirements and create a package for you. We have however, provided packages which we feel include everything you need for your big day, at very competitive prices. Can we offer our guests a choice on the menu? Within your chosen package, we would ask that you choose one starter, main course and dessert for your full party. However, if you would like your guests to have a choice, a supplement charge of £3.25 per person will apply Maximum of 2 choices will apply to this option When is the best time to book our Ceremony? The best time for your service will be between 12pm & 1pm. Following the service we will need a couple of hours to reset the room for your wedding breakfast, and this is a perfect time to have your drinks reception & photographs. Do we need to book our Ceremony with the hotel? You will need to book your ceremony directly with the Registrar or Church How many tables will we need for a Wedding Breakfast? This will depend on your numbers. We can provide tables to seat up to 8/10 comfortably, and also slightly larger tables to fit up to 12 What time does the bar shut? We are licenced until 1am every day apart from Sundays, which is midnight
