Manager’s Package Top Guns AAA Spring Hockey Tournament The Top Guns committee is pleased to invite your team to participate in the Top Guns AAA Spring Hockey Tournament. Once again, the tournaments will be held at Canmore, Alberta (just East of Banff, Alberta). • • • • • • • • •

The prestigious Top Guns Tournament continues to attract top teams of AAA caliber from Canada. This year, the tournament will feature teams for the age groups 2003 - 1997. Body checking will be permitted for the age groups from Major Atom (2000) to Bantam (1997). Maximum 20 player’s only on a roster. The tournament will be a draw with each team guaranteed 4 games. Semi Finals (2) and Final Game to complete the draw on Sunday (2:30-4:30 pm), Each game will be 3 – 20 minute stop-periods with one ice clean during the game (flood every 2 periods). There will be custom gold, silver and bronze medal awards. Championship trophy awarded to gold medal team. Game MVP trophies awarded each game (1 per team- Your coaches pick your player of the game). Tournament (Goalie, 2 Wingers, 2 Defense, 1 Center )All Star lineup Trophies will be awarded at the end of the Semi Finals game.. Please submit Rosters with Said Positions to make it easier on all coaches selecting All-Stars. Your Team should select a committee to pick their top 5 choices by the end of the 4 games (only pick the other team whom you have played players) ie) 5 Right Wingers, 5 Left Wingers, 5 Right Defense, 5 Left Defense, 4 Goalies Ranking them 1-Best to 5th (Goalies 1st to 4th). This ranking list will be handed to the Tournament Administration for computer processing in preparation for the Awards presentation between the Semi Final Games on Sunday. The entry fee for the Top Guns AAA Tournament is $2,000.00 (includes GST). The total fee is due February 28, 2011. Please note that all teams are required to carry their own insurance for the tournament and each player is to sign the tournament waiver. Tournament waivers are to be carried by the Manager of the Team at all times. Copy of Player’s birth Certificates are to be carried by the Manager of the Team at all times. Teams are automatically reserved 15 rooms at the Prestigious Canmore Resort Chateau. A $500 deposit will be charged at the time of Team Registration. Once your team’s parents have reserved/paid their individual room requirements the $500 deposit will be refunded. We look forward to seeing your team at the 2011 TOP GUNS AAA HOCKEY TOURNAMENT. The risk of injury from activities involved with this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment and personal discipline may reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and, I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation.
