About us Established in 1994, Euro-Alco produces organic whiskey, in Kishinev's old distillery based in 1898. The unique construction has been kept on the territory of our plant. It has an important historical value – this is the oldest distillery in the Moldova, being the symbol of tradition durability in production of whiskey spirits for our company.

Production process We control every step of the spiritmaking: from milling the locally grown grain to distilling, infusing in barrels, and finally, bottling.

Organic spirit We believe that the best spirits must come from the best ingredients. The grain, that is used in production, is obtained from organic Moldavian farms. Involving our local producers in the process of creating the product, we support this way the local economy and the sustainable agriculture. All the enzymes and yeast that are used in production are also organic and non-GMO (non-genetically modified organism).

WATER is the soul of Whiskey All of our products are distilled in our own facility. Our water – an essential ingredient in distillation – clear, sweet, with a minimum amount of impurities and natural minerals – it comes from the deep ancient layers of the earth and it is additionally treated, for purification, with natural charcoal. According to the opinion of some experts, the water for whisky also means the same as the grapes for wine.

BARELLS All of our whiskeys are aged for three years in 30-gallon oak barrels (113,55 Liters). This insures the distillate, to develop and enrich its flavor thanks to the clear notes of the deep fragrance. Aging in specially re-toasted barrels from cognac and port wine, gives the whiskey a special color, unique bouquet and oiliness.

We use the barrels, made by the best local coopers. We age our whiskey, till it extracts the full range of aromas from the oak.

Finally, we bottle our whiskey. Every product we make is Certified UNI EN ISO 22000:2005

Komandor “Komandor looking seaward, o'er the sandhills stands the fortress, old and quaint…” Delicate and fragrant on the complex nose, with hints of malt, worn leather, and hay. Full-bodied in the mouth, smooth and honeyed, with gingery malt. Long length in the finish, with cereal and more ginger.

Red Horse “The noble Red Horse at full gallop moving You to success!” Fruity and gently spicy on the palate, with walnuts and soft oak notes. A hint of old leather when diluted. Dries slowly, with aniseed and oak in a medium length finish.

Old Village “Very warm and inviting, by traditional Scottish recipe.” Has a sweet, fresh and subtly spicy, packed with fruit, butterscotch and oak spice notes. It’s like an explosion, only smooth, warm and embracing.

Black Crown “Generosity in the tradition of aristocratic refinement of taste…” While being very approachable the influence of the ex-cognac cask creates a unique smooth, sweet, slightly woody marriage that sparkles on the tongue. Slightly moorish, sweet spice finish complimented by woody undertones.

Old church “If your with me get your glass raised and sing along to old friends old whiskey and old songs…” Whiskey “Old Church” – moderate to slightly lingering with a touch of bitter oak. There is a marked sweetness with notes of barley sugar and malt.
