Greg Cooper is a California licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist and holds a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration. His laboratory experience includes positions as Bench Technologist, Chemistry Department Supervisor and Laboratory Manager over a period of 12 years. Greg Cooper joined Bio-Rad Laboratories nearly 15 years ago and now serves as the Manager of Clinical Standards and Practices. In that capacity he is responsible for managing Bio-Rad’s Quality System Division worldwide education programs and developing a new QC algorithm. He has served on several NCCLS subcommittees involved in various aspects of quality systems and process control. Greg Cooper also attends and contributes to ISO TC 212, a technical committee that is involved in developing harmonized international standards for laboratory practice and clinical diagnostic manufacturers.
