The Storage System STOPA UNIVERSAL
Highest flexibility and a modular concept distinguishes the storage system STOPA UNIVERSAL.
Different types of material with varying dimensions, stacking heights and loads can be stored on special system pallets. The system design features a longitudinal moving picker crane handling system with telescopic forks extendible to both sides. Various station arrangements enable fast and reliable material acces to suit the customers specific demands.
Output and return stations
Various station arrangements are possible for the manual integration of workplaces and machines.
Raw material can be provided at stations by using transport carts, scissors lift carts, pedestals or conveyer systems.
Unused material or partially finished products can be sent back into the storage system after processing.
Providing workplaces and machines with raw material simultaneous to the manufacturing processes saves valuable production time.

Fully automated connection of machines
An optimal efficiency of machines can only be reached by a total automation of the loading and unloading process.
Therefore a special loading cart provides the raw material to the loading unit of the machine. Finished parts are unloaded after the manufacturing process on a separate unloading cart which brings the parts back to the storage system.
Loading and unloading carts are equiped with all necessary automation components like fanning magnets, empty pallet recognition, encoder for exact length positioning, etc.
Processing machine and storage system are connected by interfaces to a storage administration that controls the whole material handling.
