Day 1 ARRIVE IN SANTIAGO Start your South America Wine Tour in Santiago. This bustling city is not only the capital of Chile, but it is also the best wine region in Chile. Transfer to your hotel and get ready for your city tour. Visit the main attractions in Santiago and admire the contrast between the colonial architecture and modern skyscrapers in Vitacura and Las Condes. Finish your Santiago tour where it all started: Santa Lucía Hill, the foundation of the city. Climb the hill for a picture-perfect panoramic view of Santiago and the Andes Mountains.

Day 2 CASABLANCA VALLEY Visit the Casablanca Valley, one of the many valleys that surrounds the Chilean capital. Casablanca, meaning ‘White House’ in Spanish, is particularly famous for its high-quality white grapes. On this full-day tour, you have the chance to visit three different vineyards where you will learn about the winemaking processes, and enjoy fine wine tastings. After enjoying the best white wines in the country, return to Santiago for the evening.

Day 3 VALPARAISO & VIA DEL MAR & TRANSFER TO MENDOZA After breakfast, grab your swimsuit because you are going to visit the picturesque seaport towns of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso! Start in Valparaíso, where Nobel prize winner Pablo Neruda had one of his three houses, La Sebastiana, now open to the public as a museum. Visit the historic center, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. Admire the wellpreserved 19th-century buildings and churches, and use the elevators to climb some of the hills in the city. Afterwards, head to Viña del Mar, which will welcome you with its beautiful gardens, plazas, and palaces. The emblematic symbol of this town, nicknamed ‘ The Garden City,’ is the Flower Clock, boasting pink, red, and white flowers. Spend some spare time on the beach, sunbathing, swimming, or just walking along the coast. Return to Santiago in the late afternoon and check out of your hotel in Chile and transfer to the airport to arrive in Argentina. Your first destination in the country is Mendoza, Argentina’s wine capital.

Day 4 MENDOZA CITY TOUR Today, explore Mendoza on a city tour. Mendoza has nearly 365 days of sun and the properties of its soil make this territory ideal for winemaking. One of the main grapevines is Malbec, which has a more fruity flavor than the French version. Visit this colonial and verdant city on a half-day city tour, exploring the Civic Center and the San Martin Park. Return to your hotel and admire the romantic views of the sunset over the Andes.

Day 5 UCO VALLEY WINE TASTING TOUR Visit Uco Valley, the highest Valley in Mendoza. Stop at the first vineyard to learn about the winemaking processes. Then head to the cellar for a wine tasting and complete the experience with a local lunch. Visit the second vineyard in the region and continue to immerse yourself in the viticulture of Argentina. Return to Mendoza in the early evening.

Day 6 TRANSFER TO COLONIA Transfer to the airport to leave Argentina and visit Uruguay, one of the smallest countries in South America. Just like its neighbor, Uruguay is also famous for its high-quality wine and beef. Start your Uruguay tour in the capital, Montevideo, where a guide or driver will pick you up to take you to Colonia del Sacramento, the main wine region of Uruguay.

Day 7 COLONIA ESTANCIAS & WINE TASTING Your tour starts at Estancia Anchorena, one of Uruguay’s oldest wineries. Tour the vineyard and the vast parks, featuring trees from all over the world. This estancia is also the Uruguayan presidential summer residence. Visit Cerros de San Juan Winery, which was founded by German settlers in 1854. Try their house wines along with a selection of cheese and ham. Return to Colonia in the afternoon.

Day 8 COLONIA TOUR & TRANSFER TO BUENOS AIRES Stroll through the enthralling streets of Colonia’s historic center, the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Uruguay and soak in the sights. This charming colonial city doesn’t only offer picturesque scenes and breathtaking views of La Plata River, it also has an intriguing history and is one of the few places in South America that fell under both Portuguese and Spanish rule. Discover its legends under the light of its lampposts on a walking city tour. Afterwards, cross the river to visit Argentina’s bustling capital: Buenos Aires.

Day 9 BUENOS AIRES TOUR & TANGO SHOW Explore Buenos Aires on a city tour, visiting its landmarks, including the Obelisk, ‘Casa Rosada’ Presidential Palace, the colorful Caminito, and more. In the evening, enjoy one of the main attractions of the city, a tango show! Watch the dancers perform the sensual dance that is part of many memorable movie scenes, such as Al Pacino’s ‘Scent of a Woman.’

Day 10 DEPARTURE FROM BUENOS AIRES Enjoy the last day of your South America Wine Tour on your own. Explore the neighborhoods you liked the most, visit an estancia nearby to learn more about the 'gaucho' (Argentine cowboy) lifestyle, or take a riverboat cruise down the Parana River to the Tigre Delta. In the evening, transfer to the airport to catch your flight home or continue your journey through South America.
