Notice To Fishermen

Lost Anchor – Hazard - Stevpris MK4 15 Tonne Anchor Please note the following Stevpris Mk4 15 Tonne Anchor has been dropped to the seabed, following the chain parting whilst being recovered. LAT 58°14.296'N

LONG 000°12.403'E

The anchor is on the seabed with only three links of chain which makes it very nearly impossible to grapple with Anchor handling vessels. Consideration will be given to future recovery within the next 12 months utilizing a DSV c/w ROV and saturation divers. Approx 1 mtr of 3” chain remains attached to the anchor.

Notice To Fishermen

FishSAFE Information – FSIv27 Now Available The latest release of FSI data is now being distributed to fishermen and is available to download here. FishSAFE v27 contains the positions of many new oil & gas structures and is available for the following fishing plotter systems: Sodena, Maxsea, Olex, Penta, SIS MicroPlot, Transas Navifisher, Litton FishMaster, TMPlanner Quodfish and also your FishSAFE Unit. FSIv27 is not available for the TRAX system. This is because pre-release trials of FSIv27 identified instances where information about oil and gas assets had not been imported completely when using TRAX. The cause is being investigated. The full Notice to Fishermen relating to this issue may be found here.
