Champagne Reception Each guest will receive three glasses of Champagne to enjoy during their time onboard.

Canapés A selection of canapés freshly prepared by Britannia's Executive Chef in the original Royal Galley.

'Unobtrusive Excellence' Britannia's dedicated butlers provide the highest standards of service. Based on 50 to 450 guests. This option includes the exclusive hire of Britannia and the services of a dedicated Event Manager who will help you with the detailed planning of your event. This evening is held in the State Apartments. If the number of guests exceeds 300 the State Apartments will be incorporated with the Royal Deck. The reception is based on three glasses of Champagne per person. Any excess will be charged on consumption.

The Ambassador The Royal Yacht Britannia played a key role as an ambassador for Britain and the Commonwealth. During her 44 years of service, she welcomed many of the world’s leading business and political figures on board, during overseas trade missions known as ‘Sea Days’. These resulted in the Overseas Trade Board estimating that many billions of pounds were generated for the British economy. In keeping with her former role, you too can invite your guests on board to be inspired by Britannia’s unique charm and play host where prime ministers, presidents and ambassadors once did business.

Presentation Upon arrival, your guests will be welcomed into the elegant State Dining Room.The room will be arranged in ‘theatre style’ with a small stage and lectern, and will include full audio visual equipment and a PA system.

Champagne and Canapé Reception After the presentation, your guests will have the opportunity to network over a glass of Champagne and selection of canapés, freshly prepared by Britannia’s Executive Chef. The evening is based on two glasses of Champagne and five canapés per person.

The Officers’ Wardroom Dinner On board Britannia there were 22 top ranking Officers who served and all would have dined in The Officers’ Wardroom. Dining in The Officers’ Wardroom was seen as a splendid affair, with Officers dressed in their ‘Red Sea Rig’ attire. Dinner was always served accompanied by fine wines from Britannia’s extensive onboard cellar. Her Majesty The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family, when time allowed within the Royal itinerary, would have also dined in the Officers’ Wardroom, giving the room that true Royal seal.
