The Conformation Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. REGULAR CLASSES -A dog between 3 mths of age and under 6 mths on the day of the show -A dog between 6 mths of age and under 9 mths on the day of the show -A dog between 9 mths of age and 12 mths on the day of the show. -A dog betwen 12 mths of age and 18 mths on the day of the show. -A dog which is born in Canada. -The handler must be the owner/co-owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog in this class, but need not handle the dog further for awards. -For all dogs. -Dogs which have a recorded CKC registration or Event Registration Number (ERN) and have attained the required points for Championship Status. Dogs entered in this class will compete for Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy in Breed if eligible.

BRED BY EXHIBITOR COMPETITION 24, 25 AND 26 May 2013

Only dogs entered on Sunday in the show or as Exhibition Only that day, are eligible to be entered in the Junior Competition. Please note that all Junior Handlers must register their dog and pay the applicable fee with the show secretary, at least one hour before scheduled judging. Each class winner will receive a gift donated by Treasure Coast Pet Products and the overall winner will also receive a gift from Royal Canin.

The Ottawa Kennel Club is pleased to offer an UNOFFICIAL CLASS COMPETITION for breeders who enter the Bred By Exhibitor Class. This class is open only to dogs entered in the “bred by” class. There is no additional charge for this competition. Judging in this competition will be held after each official class is completed at the breed and group level, by the regular breed judge. Each winner will be eligible to compete for Best Bred by Exhibitor in his or her respective groups. Each group winner of the Best Bred by Exhibitor will be eligible to compete for Best Bred By Exhibitor in Show. A judge will judge best Bred by Exhibitor in Show upon completion of General Specials. A flat ribbon will be awarded at the breed level. A Rosette will be awarded to all Group winners in this competition. A gift and rosette will be awarded to the Best Bred By Exhibitor in Show.
