Following completion of the Southampton Approach Channel Dredge Project in November 2014, further consideration is being given to buoy positions in Southampton Water. Navigational channel limits in the Hook buoy area, given recent widening, are under review and the Hook buoy has been moved to a temporary position. 2. Until this review activity is complete, mariners should exercise caution in the area as, temporarily, Admiralty Charts may not reflect the latest information. Charts will be updated on final completion of the review. 3. Mariners are advised to consult Local Notices to Mariners issued by ABP Southampton which will provide updates on progress and further details. 4. Former Notices L5424(T)13 and L683(T)/14 are cancelled.
