A 3D accelerometer mounted directly onto the robot tool measures and records where and when to control vibration. LVC then suppresses any vibration caused by the tool to achieve levels of high speed motion not previously possible due to unwanted vibration. Once all trajectories have been optimised, dismount accelerometer and switch LVC to playback mode .
FANUC Learning Vibration Control has been specially designed for spot welding applications in the automotive and tier 1 industry. LVC is an intelligent auto-learning software that guarantees smooth high speed motion thus saving up to 15% on the cycle time.
