The New Line Copenhagen – Ringsted General description of TP 50 TP 50 earth and construction work stretches from St. 31+152, with the contract boundary being at the southern abutment of S-BRA-07, OP of Lille Syd, and ends at St. 54+200 This package covers the last 23 km of the new line Copenhagen – Ringsted. It includes bridge structures, as well as roads, fauna passages, retaining walls and embankments up to and included first layer of sub ballast. Also a number of roads will have to be either, relocated or reconstructed. The earthwork at the alignment includes both local earth balances as well as total earth balance. The earth works includes the utility relocation where the contractor is to act as trench excavation contractor, as well as the removal of dead piles and cables within permanently expropriated areas. Special attentions should be paid to the crossing of M20 Vestmotorvejen and close to or across the existing main railway line Copenhagen – Ringsted, which could give rise to challenges during construction.

Earthworks All earthworks, drainage etc. necessary for construction and functioning during operation phase of embankments and cuttings, incl. turnouts and sidings, along the alignment up to and included first layer of ballast according to BN1-6 from St. 31+152 54+200, are included in this tender package. The overall earth balance for this tender package has been designed by Banedanmark. The Contractor shall make a detailed design for the earth handling within the contract limits.
