It would be hard to imagine a better daily Bible study than studying the names of God. In the Bible days, your name was representative of your character, and that's the way it is with God. By studying the names He is called in the Bible, we learn more about who He is. As we learn more about His character and who He is, we learn to trust Him and walk with Him in a more consistent way. Over the next three months, take the time to study these names of God from the Old Testament. Study the passages and observe the context of how the name of God is used. Write down what you discover and see if learning more about God's character doesn't help you in your daily walk. As you study these names and passages it may be helpful to ask the following questions: Why is this name important? How could you use this name to worship God today?
