Since 1957, The Little Theatre On The Square has been bringing Broadway quality entertainment to the heart of Central Illinois. USA Today named The Little Theatre as one of the “Top 10 Places to See the Lights Way Off Broadway” in 2005.

Monument at Historic Lincoln Site On September 21, 1968, a bigger than life size Lincoln Memorial was unveiled at Wyman Park. The monument memorializes Lincoln’s final visit to Sullivan when a near riot broke out on the square during Lincoln’s senatorial campaign against Stephen Douglas.
Moultrie County Courthouse The county’s courthouse was dedicated in 1906. A monument to Lincoln was erected 15 years later on the lawn and still stands across from the Little Theatre. Inside, a mural featuring a young Abraham Lincoln on the wall of the clerk’s office is featured while the words of the Gettysburg Address circle the office.

Sullivan is a great place to live and raise a family. Our community includes the safety and peacefulness of small town rural life and the proximity to larger cities and activities within easy driving distance.
