The Islamic 666 By Dan Gutierrez Revelation 13:18 tells us that the number of the Beast is the number of a man, and its number is 666. Revelation 13:18 “Here is wisdom: Let the one having reason count the number of the Beast, for it is the number of a man, and its number is 666.” As we will see elsewhere, there is evidence that Islam seems to fulfill the prophecies over the Fourth Beast of Daniel, as well as at least one of the beasts of the Revelation. In this article, we will see evidence that Islam may perhaps fulfill at least one aspect of the 666.

666, Greek, and Gematria The Greek text does not spell out the 666 longhand, but instead represents the 666 using gematria.

Gematria is a numerical coding system by which the letters of certain alphabets are assigned numerical values. Both Hebrew and Greek use gematria. Reading from left to right, the first Greek letter, χ (pronounced “chi”) has a numerical value of 600. The middle Greek letter, ξ, is pronounced “xi”, and it has a numerical value of 60. The third Greek letter, ς, is pronounced “stigma”. Although its numerical value has changed since the first century, back in the first century, the stigma had a numerical value of 6. We might also note that the stigma has a literal meaning of “scar, mark, or badge of service”. Χξς, then, has a numerical value of 600 + 60 +6 = 666. Note: The use of Gematria to figure out whether an individual is the Anti-Christ is prohibited by the Bible because this process was used by pagan societies.

The Bismillah (the Name of Allah) Yochanan (John) wrote the Book of the Revelation on the Island of Patmos. Back in the first century, the lingua franca (everyday language) on the Island of Patmos was probably Greek. Since Patmos was a Greek-speaking island, and since Yochanan was sent to minister on Patmos, it seems reasonable that Yochanan spoke and/or wrote at least some Greek. The Islamic 666 hypothesis relies on a Greek inspiration for the Book of the Revelation, since it tells us that Yochanan did not intend to record the literal number six hundred and sixty six (as in the Peshitta), but that he was attempting to capture the heavenly vision he was being shown by using Greek letters. The Islamic 666 hypothesis also tells us that the heavenly vision that Yochanan was attempting to capture was what is known in Arabic as the ‘Bismallah’ (in the “Name of Allah”), shown below. Figure 2. If we flip the Bismallah (the Name of Allah) diagonally, note the similarity to the middle character (xi) of the hand-written Codex Vaticanus, which is believed to be the oldest known Greek manuscript, dated circa 350 CE. The line above the xi (under the words “A.D. 350”) is not an underline, but is actually part of the hand-written text.

Figure 3. Crossed swords are commonly used in Islam to denote conquest. Therefore, if we add crossed swords to the left of the middle character (xi), and remember that the stigma on the right has the meaning of ‘mark,’ we get crossed swords, the Name of Allah, and the word ‘mark’ (Χξς).

ς

(the mark)

Figure 4. It is not difficult to see the similarities between these crossed swords, the Name of Allah (flipped) and the stigma, as compared with the Codex Vaticanus.

If one looks closely, one can even see all three figures (Χξς) in the Chechin (Islamic) revolutionary flag, here also flipped diagonally. Figure 5. The thought behind the Islamic 666, then, is that Yochanan was not telling us that the number of the Beast’s name would literally be six hundred and sixty six. Rather, the thought is that Yochanan was trying to capture the image he was being shown by depicting it in modified Greek letters (Χξς), adding the horizontal line above the Xi. According to Revelation 13:18, the Mark of the Beast is supposed to be worn both on the head, and on the right hand. Islamic jihadists typically wear this Bismallah on the forehead and on the right arm. This would be significant, as the Hebrew word ‘yad’ (‫ )יַ ד‬means both ‘hand’ and ‘arm’. Most Islamic jihadists wear both head and arm bands. Below is a picture of a Hamas headband. Similar bands are typically worn on the right arm as well. If one looks closely, and is willing to turn the images on their sides, one may be able to identify images that resemble the xi, the chi, and the stigma (Χξς).

Departing from the Text Figure 6. It only makes sense that Scripture would speak about a major world force such as Islam, particularly since it affects the Land of Israel, and YHWH’s people Israel. Nonetheless, the Islamic 666 hypothesis depends upon a Greek inspiration, and it also asks us to depart from the face value of the passage, which speaks of a literal number 666.

According to the Bible, 666 is an evil number, and represents the beast, or the anti-Christ. But to Muslims, this is a holy number. Which interpretation do you choose? Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six. Recall that the New Testament is written in Greek, so when we examine the number 666, we cannot use Hebrew, or English alphabets and numbers. We have to look at the Greek. What does the Greek look like? This is 666 in Greek:

χξς

The Greek numbes 600 (Chi), 60 (Xi) and 6 (Stigma) or 666 ironically translate into Arabic, the term Bismillah..Bi(by) smi (name) llah (God), which means In the Name of Allah. Greek numbers look totally different from greek letters. They are more like Arabic letters.

If one looks at χξς and turns it sideways, one sees what is translated as “Bismillah,” or “in the name of Allah.” Look below at the script in gold, not the round object. Focus on the UUU part. Muslims will recognize this right away, because it is also Arabic.

Rev 13:18, Existing Translation by King James and other Bibles Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six. Rev 13:18, A Better Translation Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding describe the Multitude of the Anti-Christ Kingdom; for it is from the followers of a man; and his Mark (600) is.. "IN THE NAME of (60) ALLAH ", (6) χ ending with 2 Crossing “SWORDS". The Man is Mohammed founder of Islam. The Multitude a term used in the Bible for people has to do with the Billion plus Muslems world wide throught the centuries. The swords crossing each other is the symbol of the Saudia Arabia flag or Arabic nations. The so called “666” is a physical mark, to be worn on the believer in Islam, then anyone who refuses to take the number (accept Islam) will be considered not to be a true believer in Allah and Mohamed.

Figure 8. Members of Hamas, Party of God, etc wear the Bismillah on their foreheads.

Figure 9. Ring who most Moslems wear on their left hand use the Bismillah symbol or 666 to prove loyalty to Islam

According to 1st Muslim website : http://www.66619.org/666.htm

“The number 666 is highly publicized all over the world and it is associated with evil and danger. However, it is not what it seems. It was a Satanic trick. The trick was to prevent the people approaching the 666.

OTHE FINDINGS: (Due to what we know now, following Eschatological terms have to be used in order for the Bible to make sense) BEAST: This term has nothing to do with a person, but rather a Kingdom (Listed by John or Daniel), during present, past or future. However, when the Anti-Christ Kingdom is revealed a ruler will come out of that Kingdom and the this term Beast can be applied to the individual. ISLAM: This AC religion has done more damage to man kind that any other organization on the planet earth. Since 630 AD, this group of people has killed more Jews, Christians and Gentiles than Rome, Russia, Germany and other dictarorships combined, in the name of god. Just based on all the battles that they have fought against Arab, Middle East, Bolkans and Western countries, Islam must to have killed Billions of people to force the region on others.

666: The message from God to John is simple. Accepting Islam is all it takes to send your soul to hell. It has nothing to do with a micro-ship, retina scanning, etc.
