Hawaii Day by Day Itinerary February 13, 2014

Depart Chicago / Oahu

Depart today for Paradise – Hawaii! Nothing says “Aloha” and “Welcome” than a Lei Greeting upon arrival. Oahu, the most energizing island and called the “The Gathering Island” offers a wide variety of things to do. Transfer to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani for 3 night stay. Conveniently located in the “Heart of Waikiki”, the hotel graces the estate of Hawaii’s last princess and is located just steps away from the famed Waikiki Beach and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and nightlife. Enjoy Welcome Dinner Tonight. (D) February 14, 2014

Oahu

Today we begin discovering Oahu with a half day of touring. Your day begins with a visit to the most requested sight, Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona. Afterwards enjoy a city tour including Punchbowl Crater, State Capitol and the King Kamehameha Statue – a state landmark. Return to the hotel for free afternoon. Tonight we gather for a Special Valentine’s Sunset Dinner Cruise with entertainment. (D) February 15, 2014

Oahu

Enjoy a free day to explore the island on your own. Take a hike to Diamond Head Crater, go to the market, shopping or take in an optional tour such as the Polynesian Cultural Center. February 16, 2014

Oahu / Kauai

Morning transfer to airport includes sightseeing of the North Shore area including the town of Haleiwa. Upon arrival in Lihue Airport in Kauai, transfer to the Sheraton Kauai Resort for 4 night stay. Located on the popular and famous Po’ipu Beach, you’ll have time to sink your feet into the sand, relax and take in all the beauty of this wonderful island. Kauai is peaceful, lush and a favorite wedding destination. Its breathtaking mountains, emerald valleys, tropical rainforests, rivers and cascading waterfalls give it the nickname “The Garden Isle”. Welcome Dinner tonight. (D) February 17, 2014

Kauai

Wake up late this morning. Today we head to Oasis on the Beach Restaurant with its gorgeous ocean views for an included lunch. Afterward, we visit the eight-acre Steelgrass Farm. The name Steelgrass comes from the nickname for bamboo, a member of the grass family with strength that rivals metal. This farm is a “must see” which specializes in farming bamboo, cacao and vanilla as well as home to a wide variety of trees, plants and native Hawaiian plants. (L) February 18, 2014

Kauai

Explore this beautiful island and experience some of Kauai’s greatest natural attractions. The Waimea Canyon, known as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” with stops and sights along the way. This afternoon, on the way back to the hotel, stop at Koloa Rum for a tasting of their premium rum. February 19, 2014

Kauai

Free day to enjoy the property, the beach or explore the island on your own. February 20, 2014

Kauai / Hawaii

Fly from Kauai to Hawaii, known as the “The Big Island” and the youngest and the largest of the Hawaiian chain. Transfer to the King Kamehameha Beach Hotel for 4 night stay. Its convenient location in downtown Kona, near lots of shops and restaurants, makes it very easy to stroll and explore. Welcome Dinner Tonight. (D) February 21, 2014

Hawaii

Today we have a full day as we tour the Big Island of Hawaii. Visit the famous Volcanoes National Park, one of the most active volcanoes on earth. Witness the ever changing landscape and the primal process of creation and destruction. This park is one of the most popular attractions in Hawaii and a sacred place for Native Hawaiians. Continue on to the Orchid Farm, graced with over 1,000 exotic orchids and tropical plants, and more! February 22, 2014
