The GSM 3060 is an off the air tactical interception system for GSM Networks. The system intercepts and records voice calls, text messages (SMS) from and to the target (incoming and outgoing calls) phone. During a conversation, both sides conversations (caller and receiver) are monitored. GSM 3060 is proved totally transparent and undetectable neither by the mobile operator nor by the target itself. Targets are charged for calls and calls are billed by the mobile operator billing system. The GSM 3060 operates in Random mode as well as in Target mode.

Software of the system initializes base station which comes with GSM 3060. Thus a cell (internal network) is formed, which MCC, MNC and ARFCN will meet the parameters of one of cellular network operators in given area (external network), and LAC is set distinct from used in a real network. Mobile phones, which are in its range (subscribers/targets), will register to a strong channel and will begin registration procedure. They will transmit IMSI, IMEI, TMSI (received in real GSM networks), and etc. to the system. In window of the program “BTS control” the list of registered subscribers appears. Registration in internal network does not differ from registration in external network IMSI and IMEI catching (private reception of basic identification parameters of mobile stations (IMSI, IMEI, TMSI, Kc, etc)). The System supports subscriber (target) selection by the known IMSI and/or IMEI identifiers and also has the given identifiers search tools based on the registered subscribers’ statistical list processing results.

The System operates in stealth mode and it cannot be detected by the mobile stations’ users. The system does not create interference for external mobile GSM networks.

IMSI or/and IMEI, TARGET CORELATION MODE: Given operating mode is intended for selection of interesting targets (by IMSI/IMEI attributes) from general number of the subscribers, this feature provides registration in internal network only for those subscribers from the ‘Target’ list. Other subscribers receive refusal of registration and return into external network. Thus all system resources will be redistributed only for support of communication sessions of interesting subscribers.

The System supports mobile phone operation (restoring the radio coverage zone) in critical situations (natural or technologic disasters); Hostage situations search, detection and possible contact with the GSM mobile phone owners in disaster areas, accidents (supporting exclusive System’s operator’s contact with pre determined mobile phone). It can be used as a local area network for a small office.
