Final locations to be coordinated prior to placement of order. Vendor Questions and Answers Question #1:

Under “SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT” it states that we should provide pricing per the ‘basis of design’ specifications and quantities. Verify quantities against the plans where noted. Not all furnishings are located on the plans, as some pieces are intended for building-wide usage. Do the quantities on the furniture specifications take precedence over the floor plans?

Answer #1:

Quantities on the Specs supersede the quantities on the drawings where noted “not indicated in plans”. Where the specs state “verify”, please refer to the quantity as depicted in the furniture plans. If there is a conflict that has not yet been identified and answered via this clarification process, please let us know.

Question #2:

If an item within a bid package is not obtainable by the dealer, how do we exclude that item from the bid package but submit other items (ex; do we submit with N/A?)

Answer #2:

Please submit a complete package. If an item is not available, please submit an “or equal” substitution for approval.

Question #3:

For the blank spots listed on each sheet asking for “List Price” and “Est Net”, will that be the price per item?

Answer #3:

A bidder’s pricing response will be included for a more detailed breakdown.

Question #4:

Is there some sort of tabulation sheet included in the link? Listing all items per bid package with a quantity, sell, extended sell, etc.? Also including a labor line and total?

Answer #4:

Yes. There are two forms required for tabulation: (1) Bidder’s Pricing Sheet (2) Response Form (all information including “unit sell price” must be provided)

Question #5:

Will each bid package be awarded based on lowest number?

Answer #5:

Vendor with lowest bid who has met all criteria and requirements will be awarded the contract.

Question #6:

Question from the Lion’s Rep: • We need to find out what size they would like this piece to be. The Rep said that the standard size is 72 x 30, but it can be made to any custom size. • We also need a matte laminate selected preferably from Wilsonart, although the other laminate manufacturers can be used as well.

Answer #6:

Proceed with standard 72”x30” size. Wilsonart Laminate 1595K-18 Black

Do you have forms for us to fill out to request substitutions.

Answer #7:

Yes, a form will be provided.

Question #8:

Items Rug1, Rug2 and Rug2 in the “Outdoor Furnishings” packet are noted to verify quantities on the plans, but I don’t see them on the plans. Just wanted to verify the counts? And is the 2nd “Rug2” supposed to be “Rug3”?

Answer #8:

There should be a quantity of 4 of each rug for numbers 1, 2, and 3. Correct, the duplicate rug #2 is intended to be rug #3.

Question #9:

Item #T-4 – MTS Height adjustable cocktail table – the quantity on the bid sheet is 50, but I only come up with 47 using the ones on Level 4 East (count of 33) and the higher count from Level 4 West (14 on the Dance Floor layout and 11 on the Banquet Layout). Please confirm that 50 are needed?

Answer #9:

There should be a quantity of 50 total for the building. In this instance the specification supersedes the plans.

Question #10:

T-2 – Item # on the sheet is the SB-3599 top which is the white solid surface top. Is this what is wanted or should we price the SB-4583 which is the Black high pressure laminate top. Also, the color on the base is called out as tan/bronze which is not a color – the closest one is Basalt Grey 6012. Is this okay?

Answer #10:

Please revise. Base BM4562 is to be in finish: 6012 Basalt Grey. Top is to be: Compacto 4582, the 31.5” diameter round HPL finish top in color: N201 Black.

Question #11:

CH-4 – This item is called out as a “contrasting upholstery” but there is only one fabric listed on the sheet. Please clarify if there are to be 2 fabrics or just the one listed.

Intended to be upholstered in single upholstery

Question #12:

T-4A – I am not sure that the contact info listed is correct? I have called the number, but no one has contacted me back. The email comes back as invalid. Please advise.

For the SV6 & SV7 flip top rectangular tables, it is called out in the specifier notes for a scuba skirt. These are flip top

tables and I just want to make sure that this is needed for these tables? Answer #13:

The end user is more interested in the capacity for power within these tables than the mobile functionality, so yes, please include the ‘scuba skirt’.

Final upholstery selections will be issued in a follow up addendum.

Question #16:

Is this to be priced commercially or on FL State Contract?

Answer #16:

Florida State Contract is the preferred pricing structure, with the exception of items that are not currently available on the state contract.

Question #17:

Is a construction schedule available for review? This will be needed to assess any lead time issues and installation parameters.

Answer #17:

Window of Installation is: 9/2/16 – 9/7/16 unless we can get approval from the fire marshal that furniture can be placed prior to Substantial Completion.

Question #18:

Please clarify installation conditions – Normal/After Hours Delivery and Installation, access to freight elevators, access to loading dock, stair carry of any items/areas, etc?

Answer #18:

If after-hours delivery is required, access can be granted by FSU. Please price accordingly based on the effort that you anticipate to meet the above mentioned window of installation.

There will be access to freight elevators. These elevators will provide access to the areas within the scope of the furniture installation. There is not a loading dock that services the new club. Deliveries can be received at stadium gates D/E or H/J. Upon award, we will provide points of contact for coordination purposes. Currently, there is no provision for trash dumpsters for depositing cardboard and packing materials
