Action 2 –Mobility • Scholarships of varying length (1 month to 3 years) • Bachelor, master, doctorate and post-doctorate students and HE staff (training, teaching, research activities) • Mobility not linked to specific programmes - projects should cover as many areas of study and disciplines as possible identified under a specific lot • Special attention paid to socio-economically disadvantaged groups and populations in a vulnerable situation (Strand 1 only)

Action 2 shape and finance
•Composition of consortia – At least 5 European HEIs from at least 3 EU countries – At least 1 HEI from each country of the Lot (Strand 1) – Maximum size of partnership: 20 partners • Applicant: Must be a European HEI • A project can be co-managed by a third-country coordinating institution • Associated partners play an active role may not receive funding from the grant •Maximum eligibility period: 48 months

Action 2 individual mobility •Variable length mobility: – 1- 36 months for both degree-seeking and other students •3 target groups - Group 1: Students/staff from partners institutions of the consortia - Group 2: Students/staff from other HEIs in Europe or a country in the lot - Group 3: Nationals of the lot who are in particularly vulnerable situations •Individual scholarships using flat rates cover: –Travel –Subsistence costs –Fees –Insurance and visa costs
