Venture with the Legacy Club as we discover some of the “treasures” of Polson situated on the south end of beautiful Flathead Lake. We’ll head north about midday with our first stop at the Miracle of America Museum. I’ve driven past this museum for years on my way to other places in the Flathead and never taken time to stop. I got to thinking that possibly many of you have done the same – so let’s go check it out! After spending some time browsing the museum we will have a special treat before we leave for the dock at Kwataqnuk for our 90-minute Flathead Lake Cruise. Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the contiguous United States. Lisa’s Corner of the World ... The valley is starting to green up and the flowers are starting to show us their beautiful colors! I just love spring! I’m sure you have all been getting a little “spring fever” with some of the warm, sunny days we’ve had! I know I have! Our Newsletter is packed this time with 2015 tours that still have some space left and our new upcoming 2016 tours. The Centennial will not only celebrate the achievements of the past 100 years, but it is really about the future and the stewardship of our 401 National Parks. We will be seeing a few of these “treasures” on some of our upcoming tours. We are also offering some day trips for those of you that would like to see some of the local sights but don’t want to be gone overnight.
