INTERNAL TRAINING At SlumberCare, we are committed in keeping all staff completely informed of the company's products, new developments, designs and techniques. We believe it is vital that our staff should know their product inside and out, literally! Our sales team are responsible for arranging and conducting over thirty training sessions every year for retail store owners, managers and their staff. This ensures that front line retail sales consultants understand and appreciate the total features, benefits and advantages afforded by SlumberCare bedding products. In turn, they are then better equipped to confide accurate information and advice to customers.

History -The SlumberCare Story SlumberCare opened its manufacturing operation in Muriel Street, Bayswater on the 6th November 1995, with a total of five people including the owners, Linda and Stuart Gardiner. Our aim was to produce eight beds a day. Our objective was to offer, in every aspect, a better and more personalised service above that of any other bedding manufacturer in Western Australia. The concept proved successful and product demand increased in dramatic proportions.

Spring Unit Assembly

In December 1996, SlumberCare moved round the corner to Raymond Avenue, Bayswater where the available factory space doubled that of Muriel St. As orders continued to escalate at an unprecedented rate, we decided to build our own factory premises in Radium Street, Welshpool. The move to this location took place in June, 2000. Today, after three building extensions, SlumberCare now operates from a factory that exceeds 6500 sq. metres in size, and produces over 250 pieces of bedding every working day.

RESORT LUXURY A superior comfort Zip and Lock ensemble. When zipped together, a King size bed is formed. On separation, two extra length (92 / 203 cm) single beds are provided. The Resort Luxury ensemble has a flat, even surface eliminating any trace of the joining together.

PROTECTION SHEET A soft, two way stretch waterproof and washable cover stitched to the centre section of the mattress, ensures protection against unwanted mattress stains without affecting the surface comfort of the mattress.

SlumberCare Commercial Range Stuart’s House of Bedding specialises in the manufacture of quality beds and mattresses, designed specifically to handle the rigors and heavy duty requirements of the hospitality industry. Delivery in the Perth Metropolitan area or a nominated carrier is provided at no charge. All beds and mattresses are packaged in strong polythene bags for trouble free transport.

THE ADJUST-APAEDIC ELECTRICAL BED is designed to give support and comfort whilst providing freedom of movement and multiple resting positions for those who require them. The Adjust-A-Paedic electrical bed mechanism features a sturdy steel frame housed in an upholstered timber casing for a tidy, well presented bed. The European posture slats flex to give additional comfort and are adjustable in the centre so they can be made firmer or softer. The control pad allows the back and leg sections to be adjusted up or down separately as well as in conjunction with each other.

SlumberCare Bed Bases THE SLUMBERCARE TRUNDLE BED consists of a king single mattress supported by a sturdy timber base upholstered in machine fabric. The trundle section is a wide single spring foundation with mattress comfort layers to provide a comfortable sleeping surface. The trundle bed is an ideal solution for the need of a spare bed in a limited space. The trundle base is also available in standard single and king single. This base can be used to directly support a mattress providing another option for sleep overs.

Linda and Stuart Gardiner have three children, Brooke, Nicole and Brett. In their junior years the three children had numerous visits to Princess Margaret Hospital for various ailments. The treatment and service they received from Princess Margaret Hospital For Children was unparalleled. At the time Linda and Stuart could only say “thankyou for your help” When SlumberCare was born, Stuart and Linda made a decision to donate part proceeds of every sale to Princess Margaret Hospital. This policy has continued, with over $100,000 having been donated or promised to be donated.
