We're delighted to welcome Cynthia White to the CBI team. Cynthia has taken the position of Executive Assistant - Office administration. She brings extensive graphic design and administrative skills that will be a great asset to CBI's operations. Drop by and say hello! She looks forward to meeting all of you.

For families with young children (0-6): on Sunday, September 18th at 10am, there will be a wonderful Upper Valley Jewish community event at Art in the Orchard, Park Hill Orchard, 82 Park Hill Road, Easthampton. Join us for APPLE-PICKING ... blow a shofar ... enjoy storytime blanket with PJ Library ... a family holiday sing with Marlene Rachelle ... visit the sculpture trail ... play in hay bale houses... meet new friends! AROUND THE VALLEY JCA ADULT EDUCATION FALL SCHEDULE: Click HERE for more info. CONVERSATIONAL HEBREW - ADVANCED BEGINNER: Mondays 5:00 6:30 p.m. on September 12, 19, 26. November on 7, 14, 21, 28. (No classes in October due to the Jewish holidays). The aim of this course is to learn Hebrew as it is spoken in Israel today. The emphasis will be on communication. KABBALAT SHABBAT EVENING SERVICE: Friday, September 9, at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary. Please join us on Friday nights for services. It's a mitzvah to be part of a minyan, and it will be greatly appreciated by those reciting Kaddish. SHABBAT MORNING SERVICE: Saturday, September 10, at 9:30am in the Sanctuary. The service will be led by Rabbi Justin David and family and friends of the Herman family. MAZAL TOV TO JONAH GABRIEL HERMAN-SLAGHEKKE: HIS BAR MITZVAH IS ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10. KIDDUSH: Saturday, September 10, after services. This Kiddush is sponsored by Sabrina Herman and Darren Port in celebration of Jonah's Bar Mitzvah. Meital Catering will prepare and serve it. WEEKDAY MINYAN: Wednesdays at 5:30pm. Please join us for a brief Minchah service in the Sanctuary. LECHA DUMIYAH TEHILLA MORNING MEDITATION: Thursdays, at 8:00am in the Library.
