Size: Scarf measures 5” x 50”.

Gauge/Tension: GAUGE: 40 sts = 4” in pattern stitch blocked. Special Abbreviations S2kp2 (slip 2, k1, p2sso) = Slip next 2 sts together knitwise to right needle; knit next st, pass the 2 slipped sts over knit st and off right needle. ssk (slip, slip, knit) = Slip next 2 sts one at a time knitwise to right needle; insert point of left needle into the fronts of these 2 sts and knit them together from this position.

ABBREVIATIONS: k = kni mm = millimeters st(s) = stitch(es) tog = together yo = yarn over; * or ** = repeat whatever follows the * or ** as indicated.

NOTE: This stitch pattern creates a fabric that is scalloped only at the cast on edge. Therefore, the scarf is made in two pieces, then joined to allow for scalloped edges on both ends. Fir Cone Lace Pattern (multiple of 10 sts + 1) Row 1 (Wrong Side) and all wrong side rows: Purl. Rows 2, 4, 6, and 8: K1, * yo, k3, s2kp2, k3, yo, k1; repeat from * across. Rows 10, 12, 14, and 16: K2tog, * k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, s2kp2; repeat from * ending last repeat k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, ssk. Repeat Rows 1 – 16 for pattern.

Cast on 49 sts. Work 4 rows in Garter st, ending with a right side row. Next Row: K4, work Row 1 of Lace pattern across row to last 4 sts, k4. Keeping first and last 6 sts in Garter st and center sts in Lace pattern, repeat Rows 1 – 16 until piece measures 25” from beginning, ending with Row 8 of pattern. Place sts on a holder. SECOND HALF SCARF Work same as for first half of scarf until piece measures 25½”, ending with Row 16 of pattern. FINISHING Place first half on a knitting needle. Thread tapestry needle with long length of yarn. Hold the two knitting needles in the left hand with wrong sides together. Keeping the yarn needle and yarn under the points of the knitting needles, graft the stitches together as follows: 1. Insert yarn needle through first st of front needle as if to knit and slip the st off. 2. Insert needle through 2nd st of front needle as if to purl, but leave the st on the needle. 3. Insert yarn through first st on back needle as if to purl and slip the st off. 4. Insert yarn through 2nd stitch on back needle as if to knit, but leave st on needle. Repeat from * until all the sts are joined. Take care to draw yarn up so that gauge of grafting equals gauge of knitting. Fasten off. Weave in ends on wrong side.

Materials:  2 balls (MC) Berroco Quest (100% Nylon; 82 yds./76m), 1 ball (CC) Koigu  Approx. 165 Beads  Size 9 US Needles  Size 3 US Needles  Beading Needle Gauge: 4.25 sts. per inch in garter stitch with MC and size 9 needles. Finished size: 86 1/2" Long (including tassels) Instructions: With MC and size 9 needles, CO 26 sts. K2 rows. Start pattern blocks as follows: Pattern Section #1 (using MC and size 9 needles) Rows 1-2: K all sts. Row 3: * K1, YO 3 times. Repeat from * to end. Row 4: P all knit sts., drop all YOs. Row 5: K1, * K3tog, YO twice. Repeat from * to last st, K1. Row 6: K all knit sts., K 1st YO, P 2nd YO (in other words, K2, P1) Rows 7-8: K all sts. Repeat these 8 rows 4 times. Switch needles and yarn. Pattern Section #2 (using CC and size 3 needles) With beads pre-strung onto yarn work this section as follows: Row 1: Work in seed stitch (K1, P1 every row), adding beads every other P st., beginning with 1st P. Row 3: Continuing in seed stitch, start beading on the SECOND P. STITCH, and repeating every other purl. Row 4: Work whole row in seed stitch. Repeat these 4 rows twice more. Continue alternating these pattern sections (remembering to change needle sizes when switching to the next section) until scarf measures approximately 66 1/2" and ending with a Pattern Section #1. K2 rows. BO.

Finishing: Weave in ends and block. Make a total of six tassels, to your desired length (I used 20" strands folded in half). Attach 3 tassels to each end of the scarf and voila, you’re finished!

Size: Approx 6 x 56 ins [15 x 142 cm]. MATERIALS 

Bernat® Twist & Twirl (100 g/3.5 oz; 30 m / 33 yds): 1 ball Size 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles.

GAUGE: Needle size and gauge is variable due to special technique required to knit this ruffle yarn. INSTRUCTIONS Note: Spread out working yarn with your fingers before knitting each stitch (see diagram). Always knit into top edge of yarn. Cast on 6 sts as shown in Step-by-Step Knitting Instructions below. Follow instructions as given, repeating Steps 2 to 4 until approx 18 ins [45.5 cm] of yarn remains. Cast off, working into yarn at 1 inch [2.5 cm] intervals.

RED HEART Boutique Filigree: 1 ball 9937 Toasted Susan Bates Knitting Needle: 5.0mm (US 8) Sewing needle and matching thread

GAUGE: Gauge is not important for this project. Size: Scarf measures 4” x 60” (10 x 152 cm)

NOTES 1. To begin, insert needle 4” (10 cm) from the end. 2. 2.You will be working in every other loop along track of yarn.

SCARF Insert needle 4 times from back to the front through every other loop at the track of the yarn. Pick up right hand needle and knit into each stitch. Continue knitting these 4 sts on each row, always turning your work in the same direction at end of rows. Stop knitting when you have 1 yard left for binding off. FINISHING Bind off loosely, drawing the end of the yarn through the last bound off stitch. Trim leaving a 4“ (10 cm) end. To finish the ends, fold under the corner and tack to inside with sewing needle and matching thread.

Size: approx.. 3” wide x 42” long Materials:  Tricor by Knitting Fever, 1 skein  Knitting Needles: Size 5 U.S. Note: Spread yarn open to lie flat before knitting. Keeping it flat and untwisted, always knit along top edge of yarn by inserting needle from front to back into body of “netting”. Instructions: Cast on 6 sts by inserting needle from front to back along top edge of yarn. Space cast on sts approx. 1 inch apart. Row 1: Knit across row always leaving approx. 1 inch apart Bind off all sts loosely. Weave in ends.
