THE CHALLENGE CAMILE FACED With almost two hundred employees across nine locations, scheduling and tracking employee time and attendance each week was a time consuming and costly process for Camile. This did not include the amount of hours that were spent each week processing employee time cards for payroll. Their main cause of frustration was the “mixture of Excel spreadsheets and pen & paper for scheduling, forecasting and recording staff hours.”

Scheduling always produced problems & was very time consuming. Attendance was managed with pen and paper so preparing time cards was difficult.

THE CHALLENGE WAGAMAMA FACED Previous to Bizimply, Wagamama was using Excel spreadsheets to keep an eye on rotas and attendance across all their locations. Elaine O’Neill, Operations Manager at Wagamama Ireland, described this method as “extremely difficult, to say the least!”. Elaine told us about how the spreadsheets they were using were “heavily dependent on the computer skills of each store manager”. This meant that Elaine had to ensure all managers knew how to adjust formulas and where to enter data. Inevitably this was resulting in “inconsistencies” and it was becoming extremely difficult to manage.
