THAME FARMERS AUCTION MART LTD

FOREWORD Sadly Mr Melvyn Webb died in October 2012 aged only 58 years as a result of suffering with pancreatic cancer. Melvyn and his wife Diane originally moved into this County Council smallholding at Michaelmas 1987, but the tenancy has to come to an end now by operation of law. Diane and her son John, as Melvyn’s Executors, now need to dispose of all of farming equipment owned by the family farming partnership trading as “MJ & DP Webb”. The joint auctioneers WJA Rural and Thame Farmers Auction Mart. Ltd are therefore pleased to accept instructions to conduct this dispersal, and will sell all of the Tractors together with the complete range of mainly pasture farm equipment off this 90 acres grassland (formerly a dairy) smallholding. The sale will extend to other included lots off local farms. DIRECTIONS Soulbury Road Farm is situated at the northern end of the village of Wing off the Littleworth/Soulbury Road, some ¾ of a mile from the middle of the village in the settlement known as Burcott. From the A418 between Leighton Buzzard (4 miles) and Aylesbury (7 miles), take the village roads through Wing and follow the signs to Burcott. Proceed out of the village and past the farm towards Soulbury and the entrance to the sale Car Park will be found on your right-hand side after another ¼ of a mile. ‘To the Sale’ signs will be erected on the day of sale. SALE ORDER The order of sale will be announced immediately prior to the start of the auction at 10.30 am on Saturday, 26th September 2015. The right is reserved to sell lots in any order and not necessarily in number sequence; and (if necessary) to sell simultaneously. PROCEDURE Purchasers will need a Bidding number. Please register at the sales office before the sale for your Bidder number, when name address and telephone details will be taken from you. BUYERS PREMIUM There will be a Buyer’s Premium charged at the rate of 5% in addition to the hammer price. This Buyers Premium will be limited to a maximum of £350 per lot for items realising a hammer price of £7000 or more. PAYMENT Cheques supported by Guarantee Card or Bank reference; or Cash up to the limit of Ten Thousand pounds sterling (£10000.00)
